easily in order:
Trent, but you cannot go wrong in that group.
Ask me in two years and I might have a different answer.
"Touch that thang four" - Courtney Upshaw
Mark is one of my all-time favorites. I think he had more natural ability than Trent - better vision and balance.
This should be a YouTube Chanell debate on "Shit Alabama fans argue about". You realize these guys will all be NFL starters when it's all over with? Lol. If any big game depends on any of them then I'm not concerned at all bc I have faith in them all. For what it's worth tho give me Trent for now by a very small margin.
You'll never achieve great things until you believe that's what's supposed to happen
My list now: Trent, Mark, Lacey, Yeldon
My list in two years: Trent, Yeldon, Ingram, Lacey
RIP Lil Julio
Does it hurt to anyone else to answer this? Its like ranking your children.
But I think I would go with Trent. Ouch !
Depends on which years Offensive line, if you pick the line from te year they were starters I go with Lacy this year. He was finally healthy the last few games this year.
If any line, I take this years line and Trent!
I'm going with Aaron Johns or Darby
I agree on the better vision and balance part. The lack of respect for Ingram on this board normally really pisses me off. At least a few other people in this thread picked him, but still not enough IMO. Mark had unheard of yards after contact numbers. Since that isn't exactly an official stat, it's hard to prove, but I'd put down alot of money and challenge someone to show me a back who was better in that category. Single handedly won several games for us. Heisman winner. Class act. Loves Alabama more than any player in recent memory. I will take him every day of the week and twice on Saturdays.
Funny enough my #3 and #4 are the ones with the national championship MVP awards
As of today, I'd take Trent
I agree. It's got to be Lacy or Trent.

I respect where this thread is coming from, but it's not close. Trent.
Lacy and Yeldon had the benefit of playing behind the best offensive line in UA history with possibly the best QB/WR tandem UA has every had.
Trent was the offense last season. Ingram played FAR tougher competition in '09 than we've seen in either of the last two seasons, so I' going Trent, Ingram, Lacy, Yeldon.
I can't believe people think this is a tough question. Trent Richardson all day long. Lacy is going to prove to be the 2nd best NFL back behind TR and Yeldon is too inexperienced to really factor into this question. Ingram was phenomenol at Alabama. It's funny how the flavor of the week makes people forget things but Richardson is the best back of the four yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
1. Trent Richardson

The question is about the RBs not the Oline they run behind. Obviously Lacy had the benefit of running behind the best Oline of any of the backs and it amazes me most don't take the lines they ran behind in college into account. Lacey will prove to be a very good NFL back but if Richardson ran behind this years line he would have cracked 2000 yds.
I probably didn't give Ingram enough credit. The guy didn't have the benefit of running behind the best Oline in Bama history.
Certainly when you consider the supporting cast each had you can derive to this and I can't argue against it. I won't change my pick however, especially since EL revealed he was only 100% for one game this season, because I do believe EL provides a little of both.
"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
You are so right. Mark Ingram played the Toughest competition of the bunch which is why I have him right behind Trent at #2. I made that point in another thread that were comparing the championships we've won. I have Trent at #1 though. Both are great backs.
Ingram & Trent held onto the ball far better than Lacey & Yeldon where fumbles are concerned. So I trust them more to begin with. I would take Ingram over Trent b/c he is a better receiver if that is needed. Ingram is a combination of all of the other 3 IMO. He isn't the fastest, nor the biggest, or strongest, but he doesn't finish last in either category. So to me he is more versatile of the 4.
EDIT: I also think I remember Ingram runnign our "Wildcat" better than Trent.
