Ok, this message wasn't directed at me, but it's still a heck of a tease:
"Something very cool -- and very big -- is soon going to be announced by SI. And it has everything to do with Bama."
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
Positive news you think?
Little help? (g)
Rename it to Alabama Illustrated? I'm down
Can't see it as negative with him saying very cool? I don't think
He lives in B'ham. If he is saying very cool then I'm assuming it is positive news. I bet it's just some kind of big feature they are doing on Bama's current dynasty or something to that effect. Just a guess.
It depends on how much coke he's snorted so far tonight.
It better be positive. Bama has made Sports Illustrated a lot of money the last few years.
I hope that he and have similar thoughts on what constitutes cool.
chris you don't seem to nervous...any thoughts?
Chris, that is so unfair for you to post this right before I have to go to sleep. (g)

I wouldnt be worried about this SWATS thing. If i was Auburn i might be but doubt anything happens.
for those who don't know who lars anderson is:
Senior Writer at Sports Illustrated. Author of five books. Adjunct Prof at Alabama. Resident of Birmingham, Al...
Was just about to post this. Lars is a Bama guy so this should be a positive story he is talking about.
Have to admit, it has my curiosity.
No, if Lars says it's "Something very cool -- and very big" it's definitely a good thing.
What about the pending annoucement regardingthe SEC TV Network. ???
Is he gonna do some new book about Bama? RTR
I'm going to guess it has to do with Finebaum!
A live elephant on the sideline ?
Hopefully nothing to do with this Mitch Ross guy and these supose supplements he has goven these guys bc SI is gonna be at his gym tomorrow do a story for a SI that's come out early feb. I'm not sayin this is it but surely it's something good
You are aware Auburn was involved with that crap too, right ?
Maybe a special issue all about Bama football?
