The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4
It's a little scary to contemplate them doing something totally new. They might score a few cheap points before we are able to adjust, and in a low-scoring game that could be the difference.
But on the other hand, it's kind of reassuring.
They're going to try a new offensive package that they just installed last month and haven't used in a game before? They're going to do this in the NC game, in a notoriously loud stadium, against possibly the best defense in the history of modern college football? Okay.. go ahead.
If LSU feels like they need a new offensive package to beat us, then I really really like our odds.
I'd love to see them try to run the triple option. It takes an enormous amount of practice to run that offense effectively. There's no conceivable way they became proficient at it in 30 days.
I imagine this game will not be significantly different from the last one in terms of general strategy by both teams. The "wrinkles" I imagine will come in the form of modifications to blocking schemes & pass routes --- New disguised coverages and blitz packages. I'd be shocked to see either team roll out something really unique.
**** edited to say that if I'm Les Miles, my strategy for this game is to avoid making mistakes and let Brad Wing win it for me by slowing flipping the field position in my favor. I'd feel pretty good about a game with lots of punting and no LSU turnovers.

You might see them go unbalanced line or full house backfield to get more blockers at the point of attack. That's about as radical a change as you will see LSU make outside a couple special plays just for this game. What you will not see is a triple option in any form. They won all their games by being what they are "A Damn Good Team" they are not making wholesale changes now. We still win a hard fought game IMO. RTR
I bet they put the Honey Badger on offense. OH NOES!!
