I don't think so, and the arguments about her religion have gone too far.
Not flaming you for asking a question, but Yes, she is fair game.. Anyone who is in "the public eye" and speaks out, is fair game for ridicule.. She made some very stupid statements and it's fine for people to voice their opinions in response.. If Mrs. Saban had said something like that, the Cult members would be all over her.. If she doesn't like people thinking she's crazy, then she should keep her mouth shut.. Which reminds me of an old saying.. "It's better to keep your mouth shut and have people Think you're crazy, rather than opening your mouth and removing all doubt" .. She should take those words to heart..
when one posts on an internet website for the entire world to see, then anything said by that person is fair game....makes no difference if the topic is religion or not...and in this case, this was a blatant use of religion as a cover to spur people to back her husband and his $3.5mm a year salary
The arguments are not about her religion. The arguments are about her incoherent cult like ramblings resembling something like a brainwashed sociopath. West Ga really is strange place. And People who marry toothless inarticulate neanderthals, and then regurgitate the ridiculous arguments of those neanderthals, seem to have finally found a place where they fit in quite well.
I, for one, hope that the dirtbags who run the plains have let cheeze in on too much to let him go. The aubsessed fanbase has some delicious tasting tears.
Guess I poked the hornet's nest, ...love it.
Very entertaining stuff.
Ahh, the old "I was just trolling, tee hee" defense. Solid.
Look at my history on this site...not a troll
Love Bama, not the Barn
Well good, however when someone speaks out like that they become automatic fair game. Also, pretty sure the downvotes came after someone called you a troll and a barner. Mob mentality around here.
It saddens me that she would use God to rally the troops. At least thats what I feel is and has happened. She may be sincere but my gut feeling with the M.O. in Cowtown for some reason they try to use people's (AU fans) religion for their gain. It surprises me that some of them can be so gullible. Well, maybe it doesn't..
Folks asking about pics so 1. Near Skagway AK 2. Ketchikan AK 3. Space Needle in Seattle. This summer was a great trip.
it could be that god is testing the chiz or maybe god does not want the chiz at auburn, maybe he or she has other plans for the chiz. it could be that god is punishing the chiz for the cam deal, i know there is nothing in the bible about paying recuits, but lying about it would be a sin right. maybe satan is a barn fan and has nothing to do with thier down fall

Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams,
Telling myself it's not as hard as it seems - Led Zeppelin
She is fair game just as Mrs Terry would be to a rival fan base if she spewed garbage like Mrs Chizik did in a open forum. She had a great premise trying to rally the fan base to the football team's side but she went about it in a very zealot like manner. Her assertion that Satan had taken anything from the Fambly that left her open to criticism. Religion is ok but it is the religious zealots that should be done away with for the strife they cause. JMHO
True, the Bible spells out that lying is against God's law. It also quotes the Creator who speaks out against judging others.
who is judging i said maybe this maybe that
Oh yeah. She opened her j*z trap so she fair game.
It's all subjective. Anti-religious bigots are no less zealous as the ones you condemn. I won't say they "should be done away with" because that's not my position. But I'm also not a bigot. JMO
She has a right to her position of bad theology and an ill sense of appropriate response to what's going on at the Barn. However, being right can be a small thing.
Seems to me the difference between religion and cult is ....
religion if it's what you believe
cult if it's what somebody else believes
"BINGO! That was a goody!" - Coach Bryant on Sunday afternoons with Coca Cola & Golden Flakes
I don't have any problem with anybody's religion. I'm not a theologist, but I don't think anything Mizz Chizz said has anything to do with religion, especially her second "clarification". It was just a lot of flowery but absolutely meaningless string of words that referenced God without actually saying anything at all.
