2009: 1st time in 17 years.
2011: Against SEC rival in their backyard
2012: Against a thorn in our side (1966, 1973)
I pick this year because my Dad played on the 1966 team and when I picked him up from the airport yesterday he was glowing with crimson pride. I asked him did you and mom have fun. He replied, “I have waited a long time for this”
I love em all, but for me and for memories of 73/75, pounding ND's ass was more than enjoyable. The only thing better would have been if ND didn't score at all.
This year for me. I'm only 30, so I didn't see the ND games from the past... or see them steal championships from us.
BUT... in 09 Florida was the best team besides us, and once we got past them, especially after the 08 loss, I already mentally processed us as champions and the TX game was just a necessary technicality.
'11 I enjoyed beating down LSU, but we see them every year and had already played them. The domination of that game was fun and beating our division rival was fun... but it wasn't "special" in a unique sense.
This year, beating ND the way we did... more convincingly than any other championship, cementing our legacy as a dynasty, considering the traditional aspect of the programs, learning that their best couldn't match up at all with us... just everything about it. There was an extra bit of magic this year for me.
2009 for me. No question.
While 2009 and 2011 were special - it's 2012 that stands out as unique to me
ND - undefeated and the Media Darling
ND - seemingly back from irrelevancy only to get embarrassed on a national stage
ND - and it's #1 Defense (that got truck rolled!!!)
ND - cause they think they are better than us
ND - because Bama owed Bear redemption from the past Championship they stole because of their media bias back then
Ala - 3 out of 4
Ala - Back to Back BCS - (Remember - this will never be done again either, because the BCS as we know it is going away - transalation - this team is among it's own
Ala - Leaving no doubt the Dynasty is alive and well in Tuscaloosa
Ala - because we weren't supposed to

Tx beatdown for me as it was the unknown one
The other 2 (man that sounds good) were not a mystery and i was very confident
2011 was really awesome for me. I loved how that year there were 2 equally amazing teams so great that they needed a second matchup to decide it. Imo is solidified that Bama/LSU game is the FSU/Miami of the 2010's. Best talent, coaching and games. And the fact that we really threw that game away with A kickers misses.... I was so elated to get a shot at them and get that 2nd title. Anyone can win one. But when you win multiple titles, it demands more respect.
2012 is a close close second! I was as nervous about this game as UF 09. I knew ND wasn't as good as UF 09, but I wanted this one so bad... As much or more than UF
The best game was the Sugar Bowl against Penn State, but the most enjoyable was this one by far. There is nothing better than beating ND, because they are the team everyone points to when you talk about tradition. Bama has the greatest tradition and it is about time the nation admits it!
09 was fun since it has been so long. 11 was great to get revenge.
But 12 was special. Beating Notre Dame and establishing without question a dynasty was amazing. Loved the way we dominated (heck we dominated all 3 games) a media darling. This was the most fun I've had with a championship!

2009 for me. I loved beating Texas. I married into a Longhorns family, and I appreciate Texas. But it sure did shut them up. They never bring it up anymore.
2012 next for me. It was against ND, and, although I loved seeing them beat like that, I really didn't want to see them win against the Tide again.
2011. We've played LSU so much. It seems like we are always the better team, and when we lose to them, it seems to be a fluke.
09 Florida was the best. 09 NCG against Texas was 2nd. We had never beaten Texas until then. Real close with LSU and ND. Wanted The Tide to Roll over LSU because we should have never lost the 1st game against them. ND because I can remember losing to them and have always hated ND. I was hoping we could play in a bowl game but when I knew that was the match up for this years game I was beside myself. I love all three. The Crimson Dynasty. Roll Tide Roll!!!
Ba, is your user name in reference to Demba? haha if so, props
