I went to the Sugar Bowl game and watched us beat the crap outta Nebraska...I was a freshman when Snake Stabler was a senior. My dad surprised me with tickets to the Sugar Bowl. He took me and my best friend. It was a surprise gift for my HS graduation. It was AWESOME!!
I think I enjoyed beating Florida in the SEC Championship more than the National Championship game in 2009. We shocked the world! I still go back and watch it periodically just to see the look on Urban Meyer's face and to see look of unbelief on the FL fans faces.
It's really hard to choose because all three had special things surrounding them.
People forget that Texas, also, was a thorn in our side for years. Although, I despise the Rose Bowl's arrogance, it was really cool to get back there and win again. I also think that team was not near as talented as the 2011 or 2012 team and yes I realize that there were some of the same players on each, but they were just puppies.
It also must be pointed out that the 09 didn't lose and they won the first Heisman trophy.
With all that being said, it's hard to beat the drillings of LSU and ND.
I still have a hard time deciding.
For me 2012 no doubt! Domination from start to finish and a total team effort. Win over Longhorns we had to hear "what if" over the Colt McCoy injury. Win over LSU all we heard was defense did it all. Domination of Irish left no question!!!!!!!
For me it was 2012, no doubt. All we heard from those Yankee pricks in the NE and midwest was how we are a bunch of backwards, inbred backwoods hicks. Ok fine, I won't even argue with you. But how does it feel to get your tail whipped by us?? So unbelievably satisfying. Those morons at halftime sounded like they were at a funeral.
