Maybe I missed it... but I don't see where BBD claimed that coaches in GA didn't know about Tyren. He said that he was the first to mention him on this site. And I for one had never heard of several of the guys he listed until he mentioned them. Many of them did go on to get a lot of hype, but I can think of a few times that BBD was on a guy early and bringing him to our attention. That's exactly the kind of info I'm looking to find when I come to the Roundtable.
I'm sorry which one of the Cobb County faithful spread that information with us? You're taking what he said and twisting it. He didn't say he discovered Tyren. He said he was one of, if not the first, to share his talents with our fan base on this site. If you're going to be a hater at least come in here with an intelligent and defendable argument instead of playing word salad to create a rebuttal lol.
If you share someone with us I will be glad to give you credit. BBD is involved in a talent rich portion of HS football talent and apparently you are familiar with that region as well. BBD is also very familiar with the track scene with is where a lot of potential shines before it translates to a field. Fast twitch muscle fibers and national times for "large" track kids who play football are a pretty good indication that they could be big time players.
I just wanted you to know I don't mean to counterattack you but the basis for your reply was lacking a lot. And reaching even more. Please share what you know! Wed love to hear about the next potential recruit from that region!
You'll never achieve great things until you believe that's what's supposed to happen
You might have told us. RTR!
He also argues that we need to be pursuing players we clearly have no interest in on the reg, particularly midmajor quarterbacks.

Josh Dobbs looks like he's a rising 8th grader, so that probably explains the miss for saban
It seems like a lot of people get their panty's in a twist if you say anything that disagrees with or upsets their little world.
Please keep giving/sharing your knowledge.
BBD you are 1 of the most insightful posters we have on this board. Please continue posting.
Sites like this make their money on speculating about football talent.....as do the folks at ESPN.......
Posing the question as to who will have a better career at Bama seems like a completely legitimate topic for this forum. I don't think this hurts anyone and it's obvious that the more once sees of these recruits the clearer it will become.
Anyway, FWIW - I'm going with TJ.....I believe he will be a more legitimate break-away threat than DH
Truth be told, I'm very glad to have them both....the talent we have a RB right now is sick.
I personally want to see Jalston Fowler come back strong........talk about the forgotten man. All he's done so far is completely demoralize teams at the end of a game. Just when they think we've pulled our talent from the game, this TRUCK named Fowler comes in and runs over them for a TD. If I'm not mistaken, he may have the best per yard avg and ratio of TD's per carry than any returning RB
Appreciate the insight from BBD, Manager and others.
Hate seeing threads partially damaged with "character assessments" because people don't care for the delivery. Grow the hell up and "Roll Tide" more often.
I saw Dobbs had Stanford and Harvard offers, but chose Arizona St, which is a party school with a very poor academic reputation. It haf me questioning his maturity. I didn't realize he switched to Tennessee. That's why I retracted my statement.
