Should be hit in the nuts with a wiffle ball bat until he passes out. Then when he wakes up repeat the process until he agrees to sell the cowboys to somebody with a brain.
Can't say I disagree...didn't know how good he had it when Jimmy was there...should've learned to put the ego aside and let the guy making you look brilliant continue to do so.

The number 1 problem with Cowboys is that Jerry Jones is his own GM. Nothing will change until he is gone.
C'mon now, Jerry is totally happy playing his (expensive) version of electric Football! He can't give it up!

Starting to remind me of Al Davis. Tony Romo is the best/worst qb in pro football. Until someone realizes that Romo is going to make 3 bad plays for every 1 good play he makes, the Cowboys are going to be mediocre.
EDIT: Thought this illustrated my point... ROMO 2 TD's and 3 INT's !!

He is crazy as Al Davis a $hit house rat.
That's too funny!!!!!!!!!! ....And I agree!!!! How about do the same thing to Romo and Garrett until they decide to go elsewhere also!!!
This guy gets it.
Been saying that for years. So many other guys get traded, fired, etc. because they are the "problem". Yet, when Tony Romo fumbles the ball on the 2 or throws a pick to seal the game many people just say, "Well, we'll get em next time." Really! With Romo?
Never understood it. He's not a bad quarterback by any means, but my gosh he's far from a great one.
Now, Jerry just needs to be an owner and open the checkbook when necessary. He shouldn't be meddling like he does.

His successes courts his failures. He forces a throw that miraculously is completed or scrambles around long enough to complete a pass or run for a positive play. Then tries that again and again only to fail. He is Brett Favre with a weaker arm. I guess that is why people hold out hope. He reminds them of Favre and Favre won some Super Bowls. However, Favre had a cannon for an arm where Romo has a shotgun.
I've been trying to understand the love affair with Jerry Jones and Romo, and it has finally dawned on me. Tony Romo starting for the Cowboys is a Jerry Jones conspriacy to inflate his already enormous ego. I believe Jerry wants to show the world he is so great that he can win with an undrafted free agent that would be a mediocre player in the Canadian Football League. This can only explain the outlandish reason for playing lame ass Tony "The Cookie" Romo. BTW, it's "Cookie" for the way he crumbles under pressure.
Could you imagine Dallas with Peyton Manning? How good would the 'BOYS be?
Payton Manning would not make their defense any better.
This. Al Morris would truck Peyton
I disagree respectfully to an extent . If he were playing for them tonight, Dallas is up by 10-14 points going into the half IMO. Makes it more important for Washington to pass more to catch up. Making them more one dimensional and easier to defend. Not to mention it takes a lot of pressure off of the defense when your offense can score. I mean, ROMO throws an inteception on his own 27 down by only 3 points. Kinda hard on a de-
fense to cover that kind of mistake. I promise you Manning throws that ball away and doesn't force it like ROMO.
Sometimes the better play for the entire team is to throw it away. ROMO doesn't understand that concept.
That 10-14 points you mentioned are not guaranteed, but Payton would help the offense. The cowboy's defense is not very good although Payton might be able to help out the defense as he could probably tackle better than some of the players on it.
Peyton Manning or any other qualified leader in the huddle. He is so weak with his kick the dirt, we'll get'em next time BS. Tony Romo may be okay when everything is going well, but in a bare knuckle fight he is, at his core, not a winner.
according to Jimmy, he was making all the football decisions when he was there. seems like it worked at the time.
Yep...Jones watched Jimmy make it look easy and assumed he could do it. I'm no Jimmy fan but the guy could do it all... Coach, motivate, and evaluate talent.
Several former NFL coaches & QB's agree with my thoughts . ROMO adds pressure to his defense with the mistakes he makes.
Hey, but, but...Tony Homo has the quickest release in Pro football...Too bad he releases it too quickly to the WRONG TEAM!!!
Peyton sure won a lot of games with a $hitty D in Indy. RTR.
