Seems little Johnny's ego is getting a bit inflated.

He is crap.....This is why I believe they should give the heisman to a junior/senior. Crap like this, plus the immature incidents off field with this guy. It shows the boy's maturity level and thats why I hope he becomes a bust in the future. Call it sour grapes or whatever, but I believe a prestigious reward such as the heisman should be given to the elite player with a little something more under his belt (besides a circus win against bama). This will hopefully prove to the morons voting for these candidtates to put a little more thought in their voting process. If he busts, it makes them look foolish. If you followed him through the season, he got the heisman trophy for beating bama and some lucky circus acts. Thats all. foolishness. Anyways sorry for the rant but Im tired of him and his antics, "FRODO FOOTBALL" WILL GET HIS WHEN THE TIDE ROLLS INTO COLLEGE STATION THIS YEAR. HE WILL BE TAKEN DOWN SOME NOTCHES!!! RTR. The process continues....
Completely agreed. +1
This kid has struggled to properly handle all the praise and adulation. He's used excuses like being young to act like a douche. Ingram, Bradford and tebow didnt need the excuses that everyone is making for him.
Winning the heisman didnt make him a tool either. It just shined a light on him so we could all see it.
I firmly believes we expose him in college station then he spends the rest of the season blaming everyone or his failure.
Oh and this isn't about talent. He's super talented. He's also very undisciplined in every aspect of his life. No way he develops like will be needed with his lack of discipline and most likely his lack of understanding that he needs to get better.
I get the feeling he thinks he can't improve.
Bradford, Ingram and tebow handled it just fine. This kid is just a tool. His age has nothing to do with it.
Great post Scott...I've had visions of him running solid into Denzel Devall, Pagan, or Dickson for about 17 weeks now....I'm confident we shutdown the MO in College Station in a big way as well.
Spot on. He reminds me a lot of Cam Newton with his behavior even though Cam only went to Auburn for a year. Both spoiled sociopaths and punks.
I firmly believe the best season Manziel will ever have was last year. Last year he was a nobody and teams were caught off guard by his skill set. Different story this year. This, combined with his inflated ego and cockiness (not to mention losing key O-linemen and receivers) will take him down a notch. He will still be good but nothing like we saw last year. IMO.
Agreed. Having an entire offseason to prepare for him will be critical. They caught everyone by surprise last year. Missouri was supposed to make more of an impact according to the media but they fell flat on their face. A&M won't be an unknown anymore.
From my own observations, I've noticed a significant intolerance for high-end athletes with attitudes on this board. 2-cases in point being Johnny Football and Marshall Henderson. But, when blood gets in the water, it triggers a feeding frenzy among a few members of the angry rabble. Now, before you guys turn your anger towards me, remember, I'm not judging you (as you have judged these athletes). I'm just making an observation.
Honestly your post makes no sense.
Remember everyone it's not fair to evaluate someone based on their actions. It's also not fair to predict their athletic future based on their past behavior.
My post makes good sense. If you can't understand it, I can't really help you.
I think that people respect humility. At least I know I do. When I see a top flight athlete develop an attitude of flamboyance it disgusts me. Names that come to mind are Terrel Owens, Chad Johnson (Ocho), and now Marshall Henderson. And there are droves of others, but I don't think anyone has formed a lynch mob or anything there zigzag. Just expressing disgust.

I heard CNS say he specifically signed Tim Williams in order to have a better opportunity of stopping Johnny Football. I would like to think Nick's game plan, plus your short list of pass rushers should be enough to shut him down in College Station.
ICYDK, there's a glaring difference between, "flamboyance" and a classless egomaniac. For example, I've met Joe Willie a few times in my life. The first time was when I was a student at the University. A few years ago, I introduced him to my family when we stayed at the same hotel as did he on a game weekend. Each time I interacted with him, he was gracious, nice and humble. Yet, he still maintained a certain "flamboyance" that inspired him to be the very first player in the NFL to wear white shoes, or to wear a fur coat; the same player to predict his team would win the Super Bowl. Yes, Joe Willie was cocky. He had a certain attitude that said, "I am better than everybody else." And Yet, at the same time, he's been a nice guy every single time I've met him. Now, I've not yet met Manziel or Henderson. But, my gut tells me they'll be just as gracious as Namath, the day I shake their hands. Until then, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. How about you?

The Dynasty is Here!
I don't remember cam even being this bad. Maybe cam could ride his scooter down there and mentor lil johnny on how to act like a heismen winner. I could see them riding around kind of like the two in dumb and dumber. Anyway I see the game between bama and a&m shakin out like the early season arky games the last couple years. A lot of hype but all bama.
Remind me of the time that Joe Willie shoved an assistant coach during an Alabama football practice? Kthx
