From an Auburn poster on the Butta Hurta:
Two months ago...
History will show that the flip of Rueben Foster to Auburn will go down as the single-most important event in changing the perception of the little/big brother roles in college football in the state of Alabama. Mainly because of what this manchild beast will do inside Jordan-Hare Stadium and the publicity that has surrounded the flip (press conference, tattoo, etc.). Not to mention the laundry list of fellow defensive recruits that are salivating at a chance to play with this wrecking ball on the field. This guy's magnetism and mentality are no different that Cam's. Both are once in a generation players and we'll have had them in Orange in Blue in a span of four years. I've never seen a time in which truly informed Alabama fans, not the toothleess Wal-Mart Muldykes, have been in such anxiety and agony over the direction of the Auburn Football program. I love every second of it, and they see what's happening and can't do anything about it. When you treat your players as family members and they play for you out of respect and admiration, things like 28-27 happen. When you have players that fear their coach, see rampant gray-shirting, bogus medical departures and wonder if they will have their scholarship the following year, things like a 24-0 complete meltdown implosion against your hated rival happen. It all starts at the top and CGC will go down as a legendary coach in college football history, not just Auburn history, Book It. I tell all of the Bammers without hesitation that CGC will win more national championships at Auburn than Satan will at UTea. If you hook me up to a polygraph while saying it, I would pass because that's how much I believe it to be true. The perception of Auburn Football in-state and on a national level is changing. September 1st is about to open the country's eyes as to what tenacious Auburn football is all about, and I can't wait to watch the look on little dabo's face. These are great times to be an Auburn Tiger. A dynasty is in the making, and if you don't see it, you don't have a clue. War Damn Chizik and War Damn Eagle.
The barner is strong with that one.
Well I guess I don't have a clue, because I certainly don't see it!
Reuben Foster is clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed. It wasn't as though it was terribly difficult to see this coming. This is what happens when you listen to your mother, who obviously knows absolutely nothing about football, but wants immediate satisfaction. Haha.....sorry kid!
Some people bring a knife to a gun fight. Mark Richt brings a Super Soaker 2000.
NIck told Reuben point blank...you need us more than we need you. Its your decision. Source Nick Saban

Bump b/c I ran across this on the butta hurta from back during the Yeldon flip:
"How many times is this last minute, out of character, flipping going to occur before the SEC or the NCAA begins to ask some questions. This stuff wreaks of payola!! I aslo can't help but believe this was the plan all along or at least for some time just to really knife us good with a last minute twisting of the knife."
"Our coaches just got schooled. Letting CGM get away to Ark State before the bowl game was a slap in the face and now this disaster. They let Yeldon lie to them while Bama has every unscroplous recruiter plotting the timing of the whole event.
There is NO "F"ing way that Yeldon was not coached by Alabama to decommit and flip at a time that would negatively impact Auburn the most. If he was the person I thought he was then he would have decommited weeks ago and flipped then. But No he had to show us that he manipulated and plotted the whole thing. He did not have the balls to put his ass on the TV and tell the world himself. He had to have his coach make the anouncement for him. What a coward."
MY PERSONAL FAVE: "This is a tough loss but we are stacked at rb in case y'all didn't know"
" they probably filled his head with him having more of a chance at bama due to their the lack of depth at RB. We do have Blakley who will be new to us and people are saying he is the real deal. I also believe that Javon Robinson is going to be really really good."
"It's obvious. The Updyke mafia has struck again -- 3 times in this calendar year -- & 3 times with 5*'s. All showed a similar pattern. The NCAA will never be a match for the UAT/REC mafia. It will take a slip-up such as the Memphis high school coaches arguing over the haul to expose them again. That's what AU will face forever. AU needs to pull a Texas A&M!"

Seriously...I'm beginning to wish those bird watching, toilet paper throwing, no class cult of a school would transfer to another conference. Go to the ACC or the Big East and venture into a black hole of football irrelevance...that is if the NCAA doesn't expose them and force them to live out their existence as the best Swimming School in the FCS or D2.
Auburn...you are relevant only because you happen to reside in the same state as the best program in the history of football.
Sounds like our program is in real trouble. Oh those lucky Aubbies, they are really well positioned for the future.
