outside the stadium and what did they go for?

Also curious, bump ...
Can't speak for everyone obviously but my uncle was there and said there were not many available...
Stub hub had a booth at our hotel. They were going for about a grand on Sunday. El Palacio sports hotel.
curious as well, bump
We bought two from a Bama fan at our hotel the day of the game for $750 a piece. It was a mad house at the stadium. Good luck finding them there.
Saw a pair going for $500 at the stadium. Mostly everything was still 700+ though.
My brother, dad, and I went with only 2 tix and bought one there for $500 the day of the game. The one we bought there wouldn't scan and they sent him to another gate and promised he would get in and see the game. My dad went to the other gate and they couldn't get it to scan with 4 dif scanners but sent him into the game anyway. Turns out that when he gets to his seat the guy next to him had the same problem. Since it was well before kickoff, there was no one there so they started to assume they were good tix and they just didn't scan. They were enjoying their 20 yard line lower bowl seats and empty row. Just before kickoff the row showed up. They said their tix were legit because they worked for the NCAA. My dad laughed and said "Yeah right! Like y'all never mess anything up. Ever heard of Cam?" The security laughed. Made my dad and the other guy stand in walkway but he joined me and my brother at half in the chair vacated by the two ND fans
I know a couple of people said they got them for around $400 a piece two hours before kick.
thats a fuggin steal
I was looking hard.......there were not many tix around, however 1K got you in the game through any number of the scalpers that were around. I went down there looking to spend $500-$800 per ticket........in the end, I spent $1800 for a pair....upper deck on the 25....3rd row.....turned out to be great seats.
I heard that some people were finding them for $500 but I never saw one ticket go for less that $800.
In my opinion, ticket prices dropped in the afternoon and then went up again prior to the game as tickets became scarce.
Went down with a group of friends who got tickets early. But two buddies went who didn't have tickets. They started searching about an hour before kickoff with $1100 in their pocket. Scalper pulled them aside and asked what they wanted to spend. They said $700 and handed him the cash. He told them to follow him. Guy walked up to another guy working the gate and gives him a handshake. Gate guy points at my friends and motions them in. No tickets...just a little system these two guys had working.
Have another friend (not in our group) who was looking for tickets. Guy pulls him into a group of 7 others who were also looking. Goes around the circle and hands every person a free ticket and says, "Enjoy the game." Pretty wild.
paid security guard to let me in for 500....no seat but found plenty of open seats to sit in during the game, especially second half...Roll Tide...had a blast...
Damn wish I would have known it was going to be this easy to get in with fake tickets and bribing security guards.
fRIENDS THAT i WAS WITH HAD 10 EXTRA,THEY SOLD THEM FOR 500 TO 600 EACH 1 HR BEFORE THE GAME.
