Cassanova is a good kid and was a great high school player, but I've questioned whether or not he would make it at awbren since he committed. The things that go on off the field at awbren are not good for him at all because he may migrate in that direction. Also, he needs quility coaching because he didn't really receive much at Woodlawn. They played as a bunch of indivduals and really were not taught proper technique or assignment football.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4

A mediocre 3-star-type-player who isn't an overly impressive blocker and isn't a threat to carry the ball or catch it out of the backfield? Yes - he's exactly what we expected.
Nash I guess I disagree somewhat. While I agree he is no threat with the ball in his hand and has little athletic ability, he is a very good lead blocker. Kid was laying some shots.
Holland was just painful to watch I agree. Now I didn't watch the game twice but completely agree he is just awful. I am not sure he was worse than Frazier though. That 3rd quarter pass Frazier stiff armed to Lutzenwhatever where he was wide open but had to dive eight yards in the opposite direction to catch it almost injuring himself had me rolling. I also didn't think much of Prosh, I know he went through a lot and I respect my mother in law died from GBM (just a really ugly disease in every way) but football related I think LBs ran around him fairly easily.
I totally agree, excellent lead blocker.
Let's hope they don't realize they can put him in motion.
That's the way most of those B'ham schools play...Woodlawn, Carver, Ramsay, Parker...it's why suburban teams with slower, less athletic kids routinely beat them by 40. They lack coaching and discipline...much like Auburn. They also lack facilities but Auburn has those, I guess they just don't use them. Too busy having fun and losing!
I always watch #5 & just LOL the whole time the barn is on defense. What really cracks me up is when he looks like he is unsure what to do on pass plays & he jumps forward then back then to the side then forward then back to where he started at ^he will never move more than a yard in any direction. Watching the barn defense play brings me great joy because how are they going to stop the run when Alabama shuts down the offense in the second quarter leading by 4 to 5 TD's & Drake is in the game just gashing them.

OK maybe I went a little over board saying he is worse than Frazier LOL. Frazier made one throw where he was getting a little pressure and he actually turnes his back towards the defender after releasing the ball. Defender never touched him as he wasnt close enough to hit him. Throw hit 3 yards in front of the reciever. Now I'm not bashing my kid but he is 9 and plays QB and I told him I had saw him make throws very similar to that when he sees a little pressure. LOL. Difference is he's 9 and not a D-1 QB......
I played HS football with JH father and believe me it runs in the family...I don't know how many offers Holland had but he had some family ties with Barn....Phillip Lolley coached Hollands Father and me in HS....Lolley is a snake oil salesman he once told my father that he invented the wishbone offense this was in 1985.....RTR
Phillip took over at Stevenson in 84 for Mark Green, I had left the Stevenson staff in 82 when Coach McKinney left but still lived in the area. I always found Phillip to be an asshole.
Very familiar with Lolley as I am from Jackson co. He's a royal arse.
Mafia are you from around this area?
