Who does he remind everyone of? Kind of reminds me of the type of back that would thrive in oregons system like Kenyon barner or Deanthony Thomas. Hopefully coach Nuss will find a way to utilize him!
Reminds me of Joe McKnight.

“You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.”
Reggie Bush, baby!
He is nothing like Thomas
Bush or Dunn.
So tell me why? I'm going off a blurry highlight tape and want to know.
He reminds me of Eric Dickerson in the way he runs, a long, high-stepping stride. He is not as tall as Dickerson and is probably a bit thicker. I saw him in the Georgia Dome and there is no doubt he is a talent.
Warrick Dunn is what I saw.
Paging Bama born dukie
Spillers "long speed" looked short speed, middle speed and long speed... =lightening speed on that 2nd half kick off return against us in 2008.
I'd put that guy up against everyone but maybe Artie Burns.
Reggie Bush. I firmly believe Kamara could be that good.
Right now, Kamara measures in at the exact size of Percy Harvin and he has better hands at this stage IMO. I think he would really thrive in the Oregon Offense on the perimeter and the screen game. Dunn, LaMJames, KBarner are all interesting comparisons but don't think he's as shifty as they are/were---yet.
Think he is a bit more of a true RB than Harvin is. It will be interesting how he fills out and if he'll play Slot WR. If he gains 15 pounds, he could be an in between the tackles guy because he hits the hole hard, takes a cut and gets N-S fast. Needs to work on vision and not sure how well he will be able to block as a RB taking on larger blitzers.
Great acceleration and think his top end speed looks a lot better on film knowing the competiton he plays.
He'll see the field IMO on maybe kickoff returns, will get a shot at punt returns with his hands. He'll play a role in the screen game whether in the slot subst. with ChJones and CyJones and can see him shifting out of the backfield for screens when Bama goes 4-5 wide. Protoypical 3rd down passing back.

Yes, Spiller has elite "long speed". He also has an elite "burst" or 10 yard split much like Percy Harvin.
I would put Kamara in the same category as Spiller and Harvin in terms of his initial burst. He doesn't maintain it like those guys do over a greater distance but the explosive burst is probably the best in this class.
Thanks! Exactly the breakdown I was looking for. Gonna be competing with Cyrus to get some punt returns in the future Id bet.
I'd put Bradley Sylve against any of them.
little bit like Thomas; both are excellent open field runners, although Thomas is obviously faster
