Hard to run quickly when carrying his brother on his back.
is he injured? thats pretty awful given his credentials
I think he's coming off injury. Idk for sure though. If not, that's horrible.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. -Mark Twain
Could have been a 1st round safety with 3 NC rings....But at least he got to play with his bro.
"The (All In) Family"
Where is that dumb ass mentor he followed around ? Where is the guy who "mentored" Bryce and Arthur Brown?
There is a reason we recruited him as a safety. Like someone said he has always been more of a quick not fast kind if guy.
This will not deter many teams because they see what he can do on the field. Especially after what Boldin did in the playoffs. His 40 is aroun that time as well.
"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
You get out of it what you put into it!
Exactly. When will parents stop falling for the same ghetto lines from self proclaimed "experts" that are nothing more than unemployed used car salesman fronting as a pimp agent. It never fails...ghetto "mentor" pimps his hoe to the program that promises the sun, moon and stars and the prima donna blue chipper underachieves and ends up like Jamarcus Russell. What a brilliant game plan...throw your talented child into the arms of a street thug with the equivalent of a 9th grade education because "he got my back no matter what and aint no white man gonna tell me what to do with my boy."
Cool. Good for you...Your 5 star recruit son ended his career at Ft. Valley State after transferring 3x in 4 years and he signed a free agent contract as a practice squad player. Your "Mentor" was pure genius!
I was agreeing with you until you messed up and accidentally let your racist side show.
And you bring up Jamarcus Russell, who was recruited to LSU by Saban as your example. So our coach is working with street pimps to sign kids. But your ignorance isn't surprising considering you posted a racist comment on a football message board.

I was watching NFL Network yesterday and they said scouts were expecting him to run in the 4.6-4.7 range. I was surprised to hear that because he was so productive and plays much faster than 4.7.
He was and will continue to be a good possession receiver. Great red zone target who can haul in some crazy circus catches. Was never a burner though, Cal liked to take advantage of his double coverage to get their other guys man-to-man on deep routes.
I'm black...but to specifically get to the point you're trying to make, I can't even begin to tell you how many times families of color have expressed that sentiment to me in similar terms. I've had countless parents tell me they would much rather their son play for a coach that is of the same ethnicity but "sometimes we have to settle for a white coach". Why? I don't know...maybe racism can go both ways.
Roll Tide to Her
Would've been a helluva safety under CNS. He is a good football player nonetheless.

geee..think how good we could have been if we had him on the team....great line though Bama_Lefty
It certainly does work both ways. I see it and have dealt with it in New Orleans. I work in construction and deal with everyone from the laborers to the owners. There's there's no question that happens. But I know it didn't happen in this situation. Jeff Tedford and Kevin Daft, his WR coach, are white. He got a package deal to play with his brother. I can't remember if there was a handler involved or not, though I do vaguely recall something. I'm just always jumpy when race gets brought up on a southern football board. As I said, I'm in construction. And the things that casually come across people's mouths to me shocks me. I've had to threaten to kick a guy of a job if he didn't quit, so I unfortunately tend to assume the worst occasionally. But when you assume...
He'll probably still go in the first round, no later than the second.
