I'm in the dark on why people assume that Cochran would follow him where ever. Why do most people say that?
First I've heard that mentioned.
Families are good friends
"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
I've heard it mentioned in the past and seen it in several other threads. I didn't know if I was missing out on common knowledge. I'd assume Saban would do his best to keep Cochran if in fact KS decides to leave.
For an email Smart has officially declined Auburns offer because Dye involvement won't be compromised.
From what I've heard on here, they're BFFs, so I think everybody just assumes CSC would follow CKS.
And not to stir the pot, but at about the :57 mark in this video, can anybody hear what Groh (I think?) and Cochran are saying to each other as they're hugging? I swear I heard either "I'm gonna miss you" or "I'm gonna kiss you." Maybe I need a hearing aid.
Alabama players celebrate on the field after winning the SEC Championship Game over Georgia.
Don't start another one.
Enjoying the process. RTR!
Actually does sound like he's saying that.
I didn't see the CNS show this week but apparently he said that CKS was going to be a HC somewhere in the very near future, as well.
Not that that necessarily means anything, I think we all know that to be the case. Just don't want it to be *U.
Dang, I was hoping y'all would say I do in fact need a hearing aid. I watched the CNS Show, and he did say that. Smart was the featured coach on the show, though, so I didn't think "in the near future" necessarily meant right now. Guess we shall find out soon enough.
Wow. That is exactly what he said
Ok, we are talking about a strength coach now? Yes, I love coach cochran, and he is very good at what he does, but come on man. This is just ridiculous now.
We all knew he would leave sooner or later, but surely he's Smart enough to stay the hell away from the hot ass mess that is the auburn football program.
