You know how the previous teams' coaches from the last year's championship game are guest panelists the following year/Chizik & Kelly there last year...this means Les Miles will be "speaking" before and during the half of our game Jan 7. Who's gonna represent Bama or will they get Lou Holtz or similar to sit at the ND throne? Wow, Les Miles talking off the cuff...this could be profound!! lol
It was awesome last year. Gene Chizik speaking on what was basically a 30 minute infomercial selling Alabama football. After it was over, you know every one of his recruits had to be asking, "OK, Chiz, then tell my why I should sign with you instead of Saban."
yep...was hilarious... but, with Les being there, we never know what's gonna come out of his mouth...HAHAHA!! Maybe he will represent the SEC well! Who's gonna be in the other seat???
I think les will be pretty good. He's a weird dude but in those type settings can be informative and entertaining.
Talk to the hand!
Hope he wears his "We're #2" ring!
You know Urban Meyer wont resist the chance to be seen that night by all of the recruits out there and besides wasnt ND his supposed dream gig?
You would think they would have the coach from aTm since that is our only loss. Doubt they would have 2 SEC coaches though.
Miles and Muschamp would be interesting.
Bill Snyder would be interesting. Not sure if he would do it though. Maybe a championship coach? Tom Osborne would be cool.
If had to accurately guess though and wanted to add some extra storylines to the party I would call Urban Meyer to come up. There's a decent chance he would do it as he has experience in a booth, and his team is the only other undefeated team besides ND. Would add more headlines for ESPN.

Who knows if they actually get Les. I think he would be very entertaining.
I will tell you two guys I think they might go after to sort of give a coaches perspective: Urban Meyer since he was with ESPN for a year. But he didn't play either team. Their best guy to go after is Brady Hoke since he is the only common opponent we have with ND.
I believe Brady Hoke should be there. I could care less one way or another, but for arguments sake Michigan did play Alabama, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.
Mal Moore should represent Alabama.
By the way, do any of you know how many national championships that man has been a part of? And if you include non-football NCs the number is bound to get absurd.

Jimbo would make sense since he'll be in town already

9 in football ('61, '64, '65, '73, '78, '79, '92, '09, '11). 61-65 as a player and 65-92 as a coach, 09-11 as AD.
3 in gymnastics ('02, '10, '11) as AD
1 in women's softball ('11) as AD
1 in women's golf ('11) as AD
I think that's it.
I have to admit, I love me some Les Miles. Makes CFB and the SEC what it is today. Imagine if he didn't have to compete against Nick Saban. Guy would have probably two more championships right now. Definitely would have in 2011.
Bump for Mrs. Terry!
Should we all send an e-mail to ESPN??

Don't know if ESPN would invite him or even if he would do it, but I always enjoy listening to Gene Stallings' opinion on anything football related.
