This is a great game and the set up is great for Bama next year. As great as Tam played last if bama scores one time during that first 20 point run they had. We are a lot more confident this year. All Bama had to do was a get a score Td or even field goal to put some points on the board and we end up beating them.
Either way I think this year Bama will be better prepared and take care of business
I come in peace, here are my thoughts on the game next year.
The winner of this game wins the West and likely is in the natty. This is how we feel about A&M's O and D.
(A+) QB- Manziel will hopefully run less and develop more as a passer, I think his passing ability is what really suprised Bama last year
(A) RB- we will be absolutely loaded here, we lose Christian Michael but we add Brandon Williams and Tre Carson, from all reports Williams is the best athlete on the team
(A-) WR- We return Evans, Swope is a loss, EZ is not a big loss. We do have several talented slots to fill in for Swope, it should be interesting who fills in.
(A) OL- we lose Joeckel and Lewis but our OL should once again be a strength. I think you'll see our current starting RG kick out to LT(has 1st round potential there), Mike Matthews(Jake's younger brother) will be our center and then their will be a battle for one of the G positions.
I'll do the defense in a little bit.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
(B) DL- We return several young key pieces, Obioha, who was undersized last year but played solely out of need will have another year to put some weight on. We lose Damontre, you'll most likely see Brandon Alexander in his place. He has a lot of hype, he just needs to put it all together. Nealy will be a big loss, he was our emotional leader.
(B) LB- We a couple of good ones in Porter and Stewart but we return Jenkins. We have several young LB's that saw playing time last year but this is still a question mark for us.
(B+) DB- we lose Dustin Harris but overall this unit should be dramatically improved. Howard Matthews, Everett, Devante Harris, and Hurd Jr should improve. In several games last year, we struggled with injuries here, hopefully they can stay healthy.
Also, Kyle Field will be rocking, College Gameday will be there, hopefully it will be a night game. Either way, it should be a great game, that goes down to the wire and I know we're all looking forward to it.
JMO but it will probably be a 2:30 CBS game assuming both teams are unbeaten coming in. Either way it will be a great game.
Having the INT on the first Bama possession hurt us badly. I feel like we would have driven the length of the field and gotten some points if not for that play. It snowballed on us after that. The play selection by Nussmeier was not good that day and he was criticized extensively for it. Especially the final series of the game where AJ threw the pick at the goal line. Nuss needs to be on point against them this year because we are going to have to score a lot of points.
That pick was on third and long. The execution and concentration simply wasn't there until it was too late.

The winner will more than likely get to the SECCG but I got a feeling all this attention gets to JF in the offseason. As good as he is, no one since Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler can burn the candle at both ends and still be in top form.
Maybe...but young kids of today. Function very well after partying & celebrating
Yeah, I'm with you. I don't get the attitude of some people that don't see how much A&M improved as the year went on. So they lost two games... Big deal. They beat the best team in the country on our own field and destroyed several other teams. I think we win the game this time around (and may even win big), but the lack of respect for A&M blows me away.

42-10 we embarrass their ass at their own place.
the schedue is the schedule but does matter. if alabama had played tam, miss st then lsu we are undefeated. manziel had a good first quarter but after that not much. one play where we complete a pass they make good hit ball falls right in their hands. another time manziel loses ball straight up in the air and it falls right into his hands when 9 out of ten times ball is a fumble, still a good play that said and even after being down 20-0 bama should have won game next year Alabama 42-tam 17(maybe)
