I was wondering the same thing...
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
probly about the auburn possible suicide post.
Lucky, that was a great thing you did today. You cared enough to go out of your way to find out the poster's name and address and try to get the poster help. My hat goes off to you!
Yeah. It's not often you see a call to arms on a forum message board but Lucky helped a troubled young man today. As did the officers that attended to him.
So that was legit I take it?
Thank you Shannon! Your actions will come back to you in a big way. Many prayers were answered.
It doesn't matter whether the post was legit or not. What matters is that Lucky took the matter seriously enough to take the time to try help someone that he didn't know.
thanks guys. very happy that things turned out as they did today. also, very pleased to see that so many people on the boards rallied around this poster. life is tough and we all need support and people to believe in us. i hope things get better for this man.

Lucky is a champion.
Gotta say a big Kudos to all the Auburn folks who went out of their way to really be compassionate and not dismissive...they started the ball rolling, including PM. A little faith in humanity restored...

His post this morning is incredibly sad. It seems like he's disappointed he was saved. I hope and pray he overcomes this.
very said situation reading his post this morning. i knew most of that yesterday, but obviously wouldn't share it. but, i am really glad he did so it will be easier to get help.
i really hope his wife and family and the community get behind him -- the AUC 247 community should really be proud. Unreal support for a message board community.
