at Bryany Denny Stadium. This needs to happen.
Think it's gonna be Nick Saban field.
I've personally always wanted it to be Stallings Field and Bryant-Denny Stadium.
I love Gene and what he did here, but his first love is with a&m!
Coach Saban and Coach Stallings have statues. No one has meant more to UA athletics than Mal.
Agree with this.

Byran Denny Moore stadium since Mal had moore to do with building it than anyone other than CBB.. SABAN FIELD.
I think Coach Moore deserves a statue but I would like to see it placed outside the Bryant Museum. I think this location would be more accessible to the fans as many fans do not visit the football building on a regular basis. I think the field should be named after CNS when he retires/steps into the AD role! :-p
I like the walk of champions to stay as head coaches statues.....just my thoughts!
RTR Coach Moore. RIP!
I just had a flash - unusual for me (g) but, if we keep winning (when we keep winning) at this rate....the campus is going to look like Rome in its prime.
But I like it.
I've actually thought about this a little. If were going to break out of the norm and build a statue Coach Moore, someone so deserving of any honor we can give, then IMHO it should be something very different from the Coaching Statues. Like others have said first it should be in a different location as he oversaw the entire athletics dept. And most importantly, it should be some view of him doing what he did....maybe a imagine of him looking across the campus, pointing to the future of what ALABAMA Athletics should be going forward. Maybe a image from the waist up on some kind of really cool base done by sculpting masters? To me, its OK to honor others like we do with the coaching Greats, but we should do them in a little different fashion which again IMHO sustains the honor of each.

I think either a statue in front of the athletic complex or maybe on the opposite end of BDS from the other coach statues would be appropriate.
I'd challenge you to find two individuals (non coaches) more responsible for the current edifice than George Denny and Mal Moore. Their vision created our program as it appears today. Maybe some sort of mural/plaque/bust of Denny and Moore on the southeast corner in that common area? I know there's a small mural of Denny at the Walk of Champions but its nondescript.
Their profound impact should be publicly documented and recognized for visitors to see IMO.
