With good health and a Senior season, he will own every single Passing record in school history and easily go down as the schools best passer. Of course, those numbers aren't saying much when compared to most other schools.
Right now in an All Time Alabama college draft, you'd take him over anyone since the 70s with his closest competition being Croyle, Barker and Hollingsworth.
But at Alabama, being the QB isn't all about Passing Yardage or TDs. It is all about Wins and Losses. Jay Barker is the school's winningest QB with a 35-2-1 mark.
As of right now McCarron is 14-1 as the Starting QB. The best he could possibly do is 39-1. If he finishes with 2 or fewer losses, there will be absolutely no question as to who the All Time Alabama QB is, regardless of era or bias. The proof would be in the production.

On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
Pray for Tuscaloosa and Roll Tide!
