Sea breeze you get info from im guessing south Florida. You have so much hate for the NCAA you don't wanna use common sense.
Also i was around and a member of rivals.. We got hammered cause Logan Young was an idiot.... From what came out that dumb asz put us in that mess. Everyone was mad at the NCAA not Logan.. Whats up with that? And yes coaches were involved..
Bama was cheating and they got caught. They got what they deserved IMO.. I don't want Bama to be know as Cheaters like Auburn forever and keep getting away with it personally. Do i wish Bama would have gotten away. yes. But if Bama got away what about the next school? I for one don't Like Auburn cause of all the cheating they have done. Are you saying they didn't deserve to be put on probation for the Newton and other stuff? USC?? you wish they had gotten away? What about SMU? lets do away with the NCAA and let all the money schools like Okey State take over College Football. Oregan, Texas, Texas A@M..
Sorry kinda rude. Im just saying everyone is on a witch hunt for the Ncaa now and what they have done wrong that they forgot that they are trying to do what they can to keep College football great. Sorry if i was rude. I guess i got rubbed the wrong way. Im done with this and i really don't care about them. Roll Tide

No they do not have all the leverage. After the info that was released today? I guess we'll see, but when you break the law, the actual "law", I dont think leverage is what you come away with possessing.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
So you think the NCAA settles out of court?
Maybe pays Miami a huge (unknown) settlement?
Then what? Forgives Miami?? Looks the other way? How do you see this playing out? The NCAA folding?
The NCAA is hauling in the cash. They will win. Mark my word.
The fact that the NCAA is not a court of law and is not bound by judicial rules of evidence is the key point made here; that and the fact that it is an organization with almost unlimited power over its members and routinely acts in a capricious and vindictive manner. To understand this, one need only review the penalties visited upon Alabama for an intoxicated player signing the back of a napkin, and compare them to the ones visited upon Auburn for a systemic practice of paying athletes to play at that benighted school. If the NCAA wishes to cripple Miami, it will do so. Nothing Miami can do will alter that. You occasionally hear of a coach, dismissed from his college as a result of the NCAA, suing the NCAA and winning, but you almost never hear of a member institution suing that organization. Does anyone really believe Miami would sue the NCAA?
To paraphrase a wise man, when you strike at the king, be certain you kill him, for if not, he will certainly kill you later. Miami will be hammered by the NCAA if that is what it wishes, or it may escape serious punishment if that is what the NCAA wishes. It really is as simple as that.
The point you don't mention is that the NCAA may have broken the law here.....which there was no proof of in the Langham investigation or any others.
Oh no I am not saying I think UM wins. Im just saying they have leverage legally. There is a "but" involved. And that "but" is that the NCAA said yesterday they would not include the illegal evidence found in the other case. With that said, who's to stop them from doing so just because they said they wouldn't. THe NCAA cant be trusted to hold its word. As of right now how it stands from the words of the NCAA I would say the Miami penalties would be lesser, Im just holding to their word (which is dumb lol). But I agree with you in that something will happen to UM. Just dont know how much is all because without the evidence they said they wouldnt use, I was of the opinion it could be really really bad. Rightfully so too. I didnt wanna come across as saying UM would walk totally or anything like that. If u thought this thats my fault. But legally, NCAA has another case on the horizon (very winnable too if NCAA does dirty). Hence the leverage comment..."legally" of course. I know I know, legal in terms of "law" doesnt equal NCAA policy. We know this to be true. Good points all around. Thanks for keeping it civil.
