If Denard tosses the rock like he did in this game, we may set a record for number of interceptions first game this year... Haven't seen him lead a receiver yet. Fade routes, crossing routes, posts, everything under thrown jump balls.
I bet his completion percentage against us is less than 40%
I'll go with that. If our guys keep him in the box it could get ugly... Nowhere to run, can't throw. Watch out.
He has always thrown it up for grabs. Reminds me of Tyrod Taylor at VT on TT could pass better.
And had a better offensive line and running backs... Denard has better receivers though.
Dude has a noodle arm.
He just heaves it into the air and hopes his WR makes a play. Keep him contained (like we have done every other scrambling QB since Saban has been here) and he is screwed.
Plus the OL up there are big...but SLOW. You think their OL could run 10 110 yard sprints?
actually, his receivers are part of the problem. they get absolutely no separation on dbs. and if they can't shake big 10 corners/safeties...
I didnt say they were good. I said he has better ones than Tyrod did.
Some apparently think enough of this team to rank them in the top ten. I'd rather we think they're awesome and hope the press continues to think so too - and our players as well. Then if we win close, it was a good team we beat. If we blow them out, the hype machine is on again. If we lose,... Perish the thought.
I think he throws 2-4 picks...it all depends on when his arse quits.

He damn sure better tie his shoes and buckle the chin strap snugly, because he's never been hit the way he'll be hit in Sept. he'll think twice about tucking it before the end of the first half when Hubbard, Williams, Mosely, Vinnie, Nico, etc have laid the wood to him a time or two.

I cant wait to watch the "flying squirrrel" vinnie come in on a blitz and lower his head straight into his chest.
