Sorry if this has been posted but I still can not see the definite non int that Verne, Gary, and the refs see....it looked like a legit int and if anything inconclusive....it almost cost us a game but was wondering if anybody sees something I'm not? Roll Tide!
Couldn't tell on most camera angles, but there was one camera angle that showed late in the reviews that sure did look like the ball was laying on the turf. Its a close call, but I think they got it right.

Yeah it definitely hit the ground. The ball shifted when the tip of it hit the ground. It was the right call. After that my anxiety level went from heart attack to living on adrenaline only. I'm sure we can all say that this game was bad for our health...
IMO - I didn't think there was enough "video evidence" to overturn the call, however, I knew they would. Why? Because it was a critical moment in the game and the officials (and/or the league) didn't want it ended by a controversial call. It was easier to let it play out on the field.
Thanks Lucky, I'll go watch it again and see if I can catch it...there was one angle where the ball looked like it might have been touching the turf but at the same time half of it seemed to be resting on top of Milliners arm so I though that might have been where it came from
The ball hit the ground, take your crimson glasses off.
Ha...I usually don't have any but maybe I did on that play...I actually thought we got away with a few calls early but I think they evened it up later in the game
Yeah, my old man was adamant that it was a catch! I thought it was an easy call.
Yep - ball hit the ground regardless of the angles we saw first and how they did not show it conclusive. There was a blown up shot late that did, enough to rule it correctly. PLUS - as a fan of not only Alabama but College Football, I want to always win where there is NO Debate afterwards. That, if left to us would have caused it because the ball hit the ground.
Awesome play by DM, and he almost sealed it right there. But, the right call was made and it all worked out just fine.
Yea, luckily CJ made a play and we got out of there but It was to close for comfort. I think Richt called a really good game from start to finish and earned respect from me.
