Hope everyone is safe down there. News just reported a tornado struck the west side of Mobile. Any reports of damage? I can't get in touch with my friend down there. The areas between Tuscaloosa and Mobile seem like the biggest threat area this morning. Everyone stay safe and keep up with the weather.

Heard the siren at like 530 and checked the news - it was up in the Satsuma area at that time. No problems in midtown as far as I know.

Ok - I was wrong - there's quite a few storm cells out there. One over airport blvd, one over Prichard, etc.
That Krystal and rite aid on dauphin (near i65) is gone; some stuff destroyed in Crichton area near USA
I heard Lowes on the belt line got hit. East bound traffic is not allowed on Dauphin, Springhill or Old Shell. Took me an hour to get from Atlanta Bread co. to Mobile Infirmary.

Im in Jackson too. Saw their was a man trapped under his house in Mobile this morning around 6 a.m on WKRG
I hope the Leprechaun is okay.
In Mobile; could have been worse. At least, no loss of life we know of so far.
Thanks & RTR!
McConnell dealership is trashed. Closed. Cars flipped over all over the lot. 5 ton AC unit blown off the roof.
Thanks...keep the rest of us updated please....in Birmingham, we only get info for our coverage area.
Was a little rough this am on my way to work, as stated above there was some damage at lowes and the shopping center beside it, also at the krystals and McConnell, There was also a BP gas station that was destroyed. That was the latest that was reported here in Mobile
We are okay here in Baldwin County. Still under watches/warnings but looks like the Dauphin St/I-65/Sage Ave area got the worst of it.

Man it was nasty if Fairhope!
Pictures are now coming in from Mobile and they got hit really hard
I work at the VA Clinic on Springhill, Crichton area hit, BP station canopy and roof several other businesses have damage as well, took 45 minutes to get through to get to work
Sirens began at 3am in Satsuma and continued past 8am. No direct damage I know of
Never Gets Old
Really ugly weather today though. Drive from Satsuma to Fairhope was awful.
That drive would be awful in good weather
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
Hope everyone is safe, but this does help my roofing business!
Ha, no doubt. I only drive from Daphne to Fairhope every morning and 98 drives me crazy.
