And I can promise you tha they have not seen a defense like ours. All the media keeps mentioning is our offense against the ND defense. Do you think for a second that CNS and this #ONE defense in the COUNTRY don't want to make a statement? Just sit and enjoy folks.
Stanford was a quality defense.....
but ND only scored 14 (I think) so you're absolutely right in your assessment. I just hope it plays out the way it should.
According to ESPN And ND Golson has transformed into Johnny Manziel since the USC game.

haha, so true.
on the flip side
Alabama has scored:
- at least 21 in every game
- at least 32 in 10/13 games
- at least 40 in 6 games
I agree with you, but I don't understand how you came to the conclusion that, "ND has scored 14 or less six times this year." At least, I'm not seeing that based on the results of the game. I must be missing something. Must be defensive touchdowns. I'm lost.
I only saw once, scored 13 against Michigan.
I do apologize. I saw this stat on the 14 pts on ESPN earlier. However I didn't even look at there final scores until you mentioned this. Maybe I misunderstood. Anyway I still feel the same as I did earlier about our defense is being forgotten.
This is going to be a boring game after the half
Notre Dame only scored 22 points against that very pedestrian USC defense. One touchdowns and five field goals to be precise. As a comparison, UCLA scored 38 on USC, Oregon scored 62 and Arizona scored 39.
In our only common opponent, we destroyed Michigan in the first half (31-7) and played our scout team in the second half. We won 41-14. Denard Robinson had 27 yards rushing.
Notre Dame struggled with Michigan all day, and barely won, 13-6.
It's probably including games in which they scored less than 14 offensively or not including OT. Against Standford they only scored 13 in regulation.
And they rang up those 13 astronomical pts with the aid of 6 TURNOVERS.
Read that again...
...MICHIGAN HAD 6 TURNOVERS IN THEIR GAME AGAINST NOTRE DAME, YET NOTRE DAME SOMEHOW ONLY MANAGED TO SCORE 13 PTS!
I think it was they scored 2 or less offensive tds 6 times. Lots of FG's and a few defensive tds.
