''We were talking about it on the sideline, me and a couple of the players, how Henry looked like a bigger version of Trent Richardson,'' Mosley said. ''But you have to do what you have to do. So we've got to make him better and he's got to make us better. He came in and killed the first quarter program. So I'm excited to see what he's gonna do when we start our first scrimmage.''
From Yahoo! Sports: TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Nick Saban said some Alabama players didn't start out handling the prosperity of a second straight national championship particularly well.

Sounds Like DH is going to be a great leader!
I like Drake, but I honestly don't think he is #2 quality for Bama at this point in his career.
I hear what you're saying. And you may even be right. It's just hard for me to say at this point that a freshman who we've never even seen in a scrimmage and has one practice under his belt is gonna come in and over take a guy who has seen good caries and has looked solid to this point and has been in the system for a year. If DH comes out at A day and is running folks over and pass protects well then I'll change my tune. I just don't think we've seen enough of Henry yet to make that judgment.
I agree with you. I was skeptical about TJY last year as well. DH has been on campus since January and will go through the spring. Was TJY an early enrollee, or did he come in in the summer? I cannot recall..
1960 Les Paul
He was an EE. He was MVP of the A-day game last year.
BTW, that exact same quote is in our notebook that was posted last night: http://alabama.247sports.com/Board/116/Notes-Saban-conducting-experiments-17515944/1

like i said NSIAP....
Just kidding chris. Yall do a great job bringing us the latest. Just missed it and thought it was interesting.
I think all three play quite a bit this year, but I do think Henry is my front runner for the #2 spot. Drake has a year in the system, but Henry has the athleticism of a Julio or Trent. He'll play.
Henry will play for sure. And by the time the season rolls around he MAY be my candidate for the number two spot, but we just havent seen him at all yet. Also, we shouldt forget Tyren Jones, Alvin Kamara or Altee Tenpenny. Any one of them could shake things up as well.
KD has not had a meaningful carry yet at Bama, so let's not get carried away in either direction.
15 National Championships, 23 SEC Championships, NCAA Record 60 Postseason Bowl Appearances, NCAA Record 35 Bowl Victories
If you dont think carries to run the clock down are meaningful to coaches then youre naive. Just because the caries dont mean anything to you as a fan, doesnt mean the coaches are not paying attention.
Drake is a talented player. Not sure why so many people just want to push him aside after only one year. Henry is a really good athlete and could solidly be the number two back by season's end but I'm not going to count Drake out. He will have a role in Alabama's offense this year.
Agreed. I've posted the same thoughts in several Drake threads. It blows my mind.
ah, yes...now I remember. Thanks!
What the heck are you doing here????? Using logic? You know thats not allowed on BOL. DH has been crowned as the next phenom and thats all there is to it. Never mind that fact that everytime he was in the game Drake produced.
+1 to you
Every year our armchair QB's anoint a recruit as the next super star. TJY was last year's and the first IMO to actually live up to the BOL hype. DH will play in the spring game so lets see how he and Drake look on the same field before we give the postion to one or the other. Drake would be a starter at 12 of 14 schools in the SEC. (us and UGA being the exceptions)
I say we just run the wishbone in 2014 (VBG)
