Maybe Chris Samuel? He's a coach at ttown now right?
"To be the best; you have to beat the best...and BAMA...'nuff said. ROLL TIDE!!"
Yes, Chris is on staff. Not sure if Saban promotes from within or goes after somebody new. Exciting either way. Stoutland was good, but not sure he can't be replaced.
I want this hire. Will be an excellent coach and ace recruiter in no time, imo.
Keep an eye on Pat Hill. Former Fresno st head coach current Atl falcon o line coach.
Him and CNS have Belicheck connections.
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
Pat Hill would be about as good of a hire as we could get for this position. His facial hair alone should get him consideration.
"Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself." -Coach Bryant
Brent Key? OL/Recruiting Coordinator at Central Florida... played at Georgia Tech in the 90's... has coached in the southeast since graduating...
Sam Pittman. Great Resume. Produced, developed, top OL and Great Recruiter
interested to see who Coach hires
Hawgs247 recruiter of the year
To follow up on my post from last night.
Nick was in Cleveland from 1991-1994
Pat Hill was there from 1992-1995, coached the o line.
So they were on the same staff for 3 years.
For those mentioning that we should look at who the Wisconsin line coach from last year, his name his Mike Markuson.
Problem is he got fired after two games, and was replaced by someone in quality control. If the train of thought is that we go after the guy that coached UW because they run a similar style of offense as us and are known for great o lines, then we need to look at Bob Bostad. He was at Wisconsin from 2006-20011, and is now the Line coach for the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Bostad would be a great hire as well IMO. Pat Hill is still number one on my list though.

I have always liked Pat Hill. I'm sure Coach Saban will hire a great replacement. It is fun to speculate, but what Coach does well is hire a great coach, but very importantly, a coach that will maintain harmony and consistency on the staff. That may or may not be someone we speculate about.
