Its being reported that they're looking into the move but need a team to go with them. Its being reported here on Espn radio in chattanooga. Thoughts?
Does the ACC have a big fee if you choose to leave the conference?
IF UVA will go I am sure that all but locks up Va Tech and NC State to SEC.
yes, $50 million.
UNC would be a wipping boy for the BIG, except in basket ball.
Yeah bc the big 10 is so dominant in football.
UNC would dominate in basketball, and baseball, and be middle of the road in football
guessing this is where it came from. fwiw, this is the only guy that had rutgers and maryland joining the last go around.

Big 10 talk buzzing again. #UVA being mentioned often as likely to join. Georgia Tech still in the mix. #UNC, the big domino, has an offer.
They are trying to get into SEC country. I wouldn't mind if the SEC stepped up and grabbed a few teams.
I don't want anymore expansion in our league, because it would likely mean the end of a yearly game with A&M. I want that game for recruiting, storylines, etc.
How much do we have to pay Barnerville to go?

Two schools that underachieve at pretty much everything.
I'm actually hearing this fairly strongly up here and when I asked my neighbor, big booster about it he was mum on the subject which has always meant the real wheels are churning. I had a hypothetical with him a week or so ago and he believes the 16 team conferences is a year away and that these teams are just, as he stated, playing practice rounds trying to see what everyone's direction will be. The teams moving now are the ones scared of being left out, the real players have nothing to worry about. When I pressed him about the ACC long term, he said he did not think it would dissolve and would engulf the big east. He also thought Duke, Carolina, Miami, and at least another Florida school would remain in the ACC.
