I think Georgia is vastly overrated. This is the same Georgia team that started the year off by allowing Buffalo, Missouri, and Florida Atl. to all score over 20. The same Georgia team that only beat Tennessee 51-44 and Kentucky 29-24. The same Georiga team that got waxed by South Carolina 35-7. Sure they beat Florida, in what was one of more underwhelming college football games of the year. Yes, I will agree that Georgia has caught fire on offense lately and to think they have done it against the pinnacle of college footballs defenses in Auburn, Georgia Southern, and Ga Tech. I just don't see it. I think the tide should/could be anywhere from 6.5 to a 10.5 point favorite, and I'd still bet Bama. Alabama is built to beat teams like Georgia.
Barci Rambo saying UGA is more superior at every position than Alabama, is one of the more laughable things I have heard in a while. And here's a big stat for you. Alabama is 3-1 against top 25 teams, Georgia is 1-1. We have been here before, we know the drill. Business as usual. See you boys in Miami.
Bama 35 UGA 17
They had suspensions to some major defensive players during those first few weeks.

Honestly, I havent ran across much hype about UGA. Just the obvious that if they beat us they are gonna play ND. But by most accounts the hype is directed right at us, not them. Who, other than Mark Schlabach and DP (both UGA guys), have predicted UGA to win? No flame, just asking who's hyping UGA other than those 2. rtr

It wasn't really directed at any national media members. It's more directed at the fact that this is a 2 vs. 3 situation and just doesn't feel like it. I know they aren't identical situations but going into the 08 and 09 SEC championship games I was fillied with so many different emotions. But mainly the mixture of excitement of a great game and nervousness at the prospect of losing. I just don't have that same feeling this time around. I just don't think Georgia posses the threat to us that some may be inclined to think the number 3 team in the country would. Maybe I'm overconfident and I have been wrong before, it just feels different this time around. I think Bama handles the Dawgs in their own backyard (sorta)
Ntre Dame is the real travesty.....
Micigan State 6-6
Pitt 5-6 in 3 OT
Wake Forest 5-7
UGA is a tough team to figure out. They've looked spectacular in some of their games, especially on offense. Their handling of Ole Miss was impressive, and Florida has proven to be a very tough team to beat (despite the fact that UF turned it over 6 times against UGA). But then at other times they've looked bad against Kentucky, Tennessee, and obviously South Carolina. UGA's tendency to blow big games gives me some comfort and Aaron Murray was nothing short of atrocious against the two best defenses he saw in SC and UF posting QB ratings of under 100 in both games. On the other hand, we tend to really get up and play well in big games, and AJ has proven he can step up when the lights are brightest. Hope those trends continue.

A comforting stat is that Aaron Murray has beat just one top 10 team in his career at Georgia.
Agreed and so do all my Bulldog family members. They call Murray "Sometimes" because sometimes he shows up and plays and sometimes he doesn't. More often he doesn't show up against the good teams when the spotlight is on.
It is going to be a tough game, but I think Bama is the better team and will pull away in the fourth.

While I agree Bama wins by a couple TDs the UGA team we face on Saturday is not the same one that played in the first 3 games you mentioned.
