The 3rd and 5 called with TJ was great, it set up perfect time to play action deep. 510 yards vs a good defense.

Much respect for Coach Nuss.
At first it was horrible. Really relied on the run after the first quarter, but I wouldn't say he called a great game.
Makes you wonder about the a&m game if we would've ran it like we did tonight.
Coach Nuss has done a great job all year. 12-1, SEC Champs, playing for the BCSNC.
Ive been one to run my mouth about him and I'll gladly eat crow for tonight's performance!
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
He has been good all year. I just think there were times this season we could have ran a more power offense, but I'm not complaining.
I think he got told at Half time to run the damn ball. Then he called a good game.
Back in the day, I ran a 3.9 in the 20
I'm with you on that. LSU, TAMU, and tonight, I thought play calling was suspect. Most of all against TAMU though.
The first half play calling was terrible, I was getting furious. I am so happy for our guys and proud of this team.
Who could freaking complain about a new coach who won the SEC and is in the BCSC game in his first year? You guys need to get a freaking life.
My life is fine, thank you. Nuss still sucked on his 1st half play calling.
Fans like you make me want to kick a cat.
Please don't, I am a cat person. Roll Tide brother
Nuss >>> McElwain and it ain't even close.
Eat clean. Train Hard.
The second half was great, the first half especially the first quarter was meh.
Not really complaining. Just my opinion of game. Not mad at Nuss or nothin. Have another drink and lighten up.Oh, and none of us should tell someone to get a life as much as we spend time on this board.
You guys know CNS dictates the philosophy of the play calling. Pretty sure he steps in on the head phones and gives direction.
First half play calling was atrocious. With that said, he made an excellent adjustment at halftime.
Agree. Sent out about 30 texts in the 1st half about how pissed I was we weren't running the ball. Thank God Nuss got my texts! Seriously... I saw we needed to run the ball after the 2nd series.
Based on his post halftime comments, pretty sure Saban told him to start running it. If anything, Saban gets credit for that IMO
No he did not. The online called his butt out

Give the coaching staff as a whole credit. They found what worked and went with it.

Nuss called a poor game. CNS basically said what was going to happen at halftime and thats what we did.
What Nuss needs to learn is that at Alabama ----- the talent is far higher than what he is used to.
We don't have to use trickery or all sorts of different motion sets or that silly Oklahoma starring at the sideline stuff we have been doing.
We just need to line up and say ------"stop us" We don't have to abandon the pass but with our talent ---- I think we have been over thinking this offense stuff.
