I don't recall ever hearing that McElwain learned Saban's offense. All i've heard all year is how Nuss learned our existing offense. Why is that I wonder?
Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
Umm because Applewhite's O sucked? He adopted the O from !ac and added his own wrinkles. Nuss is the better play caller and like I said its not even close. Could you imagine Nuss with Julio, Ingram, Peek, and Richardson?
Eat clean. Train Hard.
Im trying to imagine better capitalization with our current roster. McElwain is better. Thanks for stopping by.
I think this is the conundrum. With injuries to the receiving core, we don't have dominant receivers (with Cooper as the exception) to get open on a consistent basis. Nuss doesn't have as many pass catching weapons, but still tries to use the pass too much. Why pass when you just gashed them for a 17 yard run and let AJ get sacked? He did come around in the 2nd half, but he almost waited too late to figure out that UGA couldn't stop us runningand we were killing their defense.
Sounds a lot like McElwain in the USCe game in 2010. Of course whenever a coach leaves he gets 10x better in peoples minds bc they are too busy crying over the current guy.
+1 for use of the word conundrum. Oh, your opinion as well.
Back in the day, I ran a 3.9 in the 20
Overall gameplan I disagree. I thought he would have learned more from Texas A&m. Lets not throw it at the goaline. Did he not know ugas rush defense was 10 th in sec? Took him 2 quarters to figure that out.
