I heard it was 17 million
Most overrated coach in SEC history.
The Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue can afford whatever the buyout is if they want to get rid of him bad enough.

Nutt has a $6M buyout. I saw it myself in an article in the Jackson, MS Clarion Ledger about his contract (see below), and this is the figure my Ole Miss buddies are saying, too. I don't know where you are getting the $10M figure, but you are incorrect.
"If UM wants to dismiss him, Nutt’s buyout is $6 million if the contract has three or more years remaining, $5 million if between two and three years and $4 million if between one and two. If it’s Nutt’s decision to leave, the contract calls for a stairstep buyout: $900,000 until Dec. 31, 2011; $700,000 from Jan. 1, 2012 to Dec. 31, 2012; $500,000 from Jan. 1, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2013; $300,000 from Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2014; and $200,000 from Jan. 1, 2015 to Dec. 31, 2015.
