My daughter is an Auburn fan. There I said it. The ridicule has been difficult to live with, but we've taken the necessary steps to get through this difficult time in our family's life. We did our best to raise our children with the values that we had been taught as children, but she says she was born this way and didn't have a choice. We tried everything, after her B.S. at Auburn we were fortunate to get her into Alabama's Law School, and after two years of (rehab at Bryant Denny)season tickets to football games she will now bat from the other side of the plate, but when that devilish blue and orange comes to town she continues to step across the plate. She is our child and we will always love her despite her alternative lifestyle.
1.) As an Alabama fan I will continue speak against this and other sins such as being an Irish, Longhorn, Buckeye, and Volunteer fan.
2.) As an Alabama fan we must love the sinner and hate the sin.
Be careful Alabama fans, remember if we can't speak the truth in love we will bring hypocrisy upon our doorstep.
The truth often offends those whose reality in which it reveals.
If you dreamed you were a sleep and you woke up, would you be awake?
Bless you brother! You've done all you can do.I married a barner 24 years ago and with persistence and Nick Sabans process she is converted!
I would say how I really feel but it would be politically incorrect.

" so you're saying there's a chance? "
When I was living in Indiana I applied to Butler and dated a girl that had been accepted to Valpo but I don't guess that really counts.
I have no idea how an Alabama fan ends up raising an Auburn fan. My kids wont even say war eagle to their father in law and they are 3 and 8.(HE'S A BARNER) He cant believe how well trained they are. They also refuse to even try on Auburn gear.
Im almost ashamed to admit this but when my oldest son was about 3 his uncle, who at the time was an Auburn student, gave him aN Auburn teddy bear. It had on a Auburn jersey. The family was trying to go on the we are a Alabama and Auburn family tip at that point. On the way home, i opened the car window and tossed that SOB onto 65 SOUTH. My son laughed his butt off. I explained to his Barner uncle that we only roll one way in my house. I went to Bama, my brother went to Bama, My sister has a freaking PHD from Bama. I could hear the crowd roar every time bama scored a touchdown at legion field in the 80's from by back yard. There's no Barner DNA in my boys.
"You are a Hero"
I feel your pain, brother. My dad and I are the only Bama fans on either side of our family. My mom, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, every-damn-one. Even my girlfriend. I've got hand though...
My wife of 1 year comes from a corndog family on her mom's side who all live in NOLA. We started dating in the 2008 season and she has not missed watching a Bama game with me since then. She loves rewatching Bama games with me that I have dvr'd the past 5 years as much as I do. Without her complete and enthusiastic conversion to Bama, I'm not sure the marriage would have happened
Mother is an Weagle, older sister is a Weagle, grandmother is Weagle/Clemson, most of my mom's side of the family are Clemson fans because Danny Ford is on that side of the family. Dad and I are the only bama fans on that side out of 30+ people.
Dad's side is all Bama thank The Lord. But yea having a double dose of Tiger fans at family gatherings suuuuuuucks.
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Sorry, but being a barner is a sin. It says so in the Bible. I hope she sees the light someday and accepts Nick Saban as her personal savior.
Nobody is just "born" an Auburn fan. That's a lifestyle decision, bro.
Also married a Clemson fan. Mine has come along way though, especially with the purchasing of team gear.
THE Flagship University of Alabama since 1831.
My daughter attends AU but she has continued being the model Bama fan. Actually she pisses them off on a regular basis.
I had to go to a party to watch the LSU-Clemson game soooooooooo much orange everywhere. I remember my uncle saying to me after Clemson won, we're coming for bama next year I was just like
I'd put the OP on the same level as Jackie Robinson for his strength to be himself in the face of adversity.
Example of proper child rearing.
My friend went to the mall this weekend and threatened to make the youngest go in the Auburn store - he was having NO PART of that!
Then I said unto them, what is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day - Ezekiel 20:29

I married a vol, she's really hot though
Not too long ago, I went to pick my 7 year old daughter up from school. As I walked towards her she runs to me and pulls me the other way, walking with purpose. She says " Don't turn around daddy, there is a auburn fan behind us....... I will protect you from seeing them!"
Hahahaha!!! I laughed so hard. She suffers no Auburn fan :)
I am sorry, I cannot support such disgusting and sinful behavior!!!!!!
My youngest daughter was an *U fan until she was 8. Could not figure out where I went wrong until I found out that her Best Friend which was her cousin was a big *U fan. She is all Bama now and she still writes her cousin every now and then. :-)
My son rebelled in his teenage years ...but came back to the fold stronger than ever....Raise them up right and they will return.
