Very somber mood to say the least here in CT today. Went and picked up my 16 year old today from school this morning after hearing the news. Can't imagine being a parent and getting a phone call such as those today.
I'm not saying gun laws need to be passed, I'm just saying something needs to be done. Maybe I'm just pissed off and searching for an excuse to why this would happen.
What do you think of these jabroni reporters interviewing children?
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
They need to leave the damn kids alone. I know i'm not Walsh and excuse me for answering but that is heartless and plain dumb. Go interview a damned adult.
Seems uncalled for but the parents and school officials/ teachers could and should put an end to it.
I agree that the availability of guns in the hands of idiots is a big problem, but how do you start now? There are nearly 300,000,000 guns in the hands of Americans. Restricting purchases of new guns isn't going to make the 300 million disappear. And this kid had an assault rifle (high capacity magazines likely) and 2 hand guns (likely with hollow points).... all of that is illegal in NJ (hollow points and magazines over 15 rounds). So the law wasn't enough to stop him and won't be enough to stop any criminals. The law only stops law abiding citizens.
Seriously bro. That's the most maddening part of the fallout. Leave the kids out of it. They will have to deal with enough from here on out.
You dont. That is what makes this such a big problem.
Latest report says that the gunman goes to the school..enters principal office first and starts shooting..then goes to his mothers classroom and shoots his mother and all kids in the classroom. Over 100 shots fired in that room.
Another relative found dead offsite somewhere. Gunmans brother was near the school and picked up for questioning..
Just awful that someone could do this..I hope this guy rots in hell.
Take a look at human history then. Nothing shocks me.
Choose not a life of limitation
This. This is absolutely awful, but it doesn't make the top 10000 bad things people have done to other people.

You should remove this post. Apparently it wasnt him. Sucks for that guy
ps. Forgive the profanity in the link. Not my words.
Police have named 24-year-old Ryan Lanza the suspect in this morning many of them describing it a picture of the shooter.

I think they should be fired and blackballed from ever working in the industry again.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
WCBS-TV: Some children found hiding in closets moments ago at Connecticut school in Newtown
Slight change on my answer - the people who made them do the interviews should be fired and blackballed.
Foxnews.com says the guys name is Adam Lanza. CNN says Ryan Lanza and showing a guys pic that says it isn't him. This is why I avoid the news. Most of these people suck at reporting news these days and only care about spewing their biased opinions. Everybody pray for the families.
As a future teacher, may god have mercy on the soul who tries to hurt my kids in my class room
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Strength, comfort and peace for all effected. How in the world could someone do this. It's bad enough that some coward has to take innocent lives but when it involves children, it makes it worse IMO.
I think the question is, what is this country coming to?
Not arguing that it's a slimy move by the media, but as i posted earlier, that place is teeming with parents and school officials/ teachers. If someone wanted to put an end to the interviews, they could
Yes, the parents should have never allowed their children to be interviewed but the reporters should have never even thought of interviewing the children. The parents you can at least say are in shock but no excuses for the reporters.
Did Cassie have family going to that school?
It was his brother who was the shooter. Dad, mom, and mom's kindergarten class dead.
