This. Sorry but that's how it is, and it has nothing to do with how he left Cleveland or running his mouth. I respect he's one of the best of all time and I like watching him play when he's giving full effort and he's 100% engaged like he was tonight. If you can't enjoy that performance you just don't like basketball.
But one great game doesn't make me forget him disappearing in the Finals last year and at various times this year. He has a long way to go to show he has the kind of mental toughness and will to win to deserve to be in the same breath with the game's legends. He's a great frontrunner but when the game is tight or they are behind they can't seem to get it done often enough. That's not all Lebron though to be fair.
Bottom line, they win 5 more THEN he's done something to quiet the haters. If not nobody will remember this performance or care about it.
Lebron James is a special talent. The things he can do, and the talent he has is just unreal. I watch him play in amazement. Like him or not, his skills are unreal.
Celtics fan, but no Lebron hater. I respect him and his game, totally dominated from start to finsih last night.
