Well, first my DVR cut off, and I didnt get to see the Henderson/Diaz fight. I know Diaz lost but was it even competitive? Matt Brown is becoming more well-rounded and is still one bad dude. You could tell last night that he's worked extremely hard to become more diverse, but also he still loves to bang. Am I the only one that thought McDonald taunting B.J. was idiotic? That big Swedish kid was a surprise to me. I didnt know that much about him but I enjoyed his fight with Shogun. Thought the Swede was a bit too long for Shogun's attempted leg locks. Anyhow, your thoughts?

No the Diaz/Henderson fight wasn't close. Benson dominated the entire time and was never in any danger. McDonalds' taunting was classless considering he looked 2 weight classes bigger than BJ. I liked the Eve Edwards fight the best. He went out KO a really good fighter and acted like he'd been there before.
Diaz got the crap kicked out of him for five straight rounds. He was tough and never backe down but he was just outclassed by Bendo. I hated seeing BJ get beat up and thought thy Rory was classless in the process. I wish he would fight GSP so I could watch him get his teeth knocked out but I know they train together so it may be unlikely that try square off. The big Swede is good. I thought Rua would knock him out but he had no gas left after the first round. I still don't think Gustufson will be much of a challenge to JBJ though.
Henderson whipped him pretty good. Took his hands away early but Diaz never let up as always. Diaz is one of my favorites so I was pulling for him but he was overmatched. Henderson had nice things to say afterwards about Diaz and life in general. Hes a good role model just not my style of a guy. I like the mean dudes myself.
Diaz was a warrior but was never really in the fight. He was dominated for the entire fight.
I liked his taunting of Henderson honestly, even though he was getting smoked he still did everything he could to try and win. He didn't turtle up, he tried to win.
In a minute there is time for decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse.
As far as the rory fight goes rory had absolutely no business fighting penn. he is bigger, taller, leaner, younger, longer, heavier, etc.
I'd like to see the Swede fight Bones Jones, or Silva fight Jones. I think both would be enjoyable. Silva looks comfortable at 205, so I say Silva v Jones... Let's get it on!
I agree with everyone else. No Henderson dominated him. Awful match-up for BJ. I will never understand why he choose to fight so many bigger guys. Admirable but not smart.
Did any of you guys see the prelims and Daron Cruickshank's head kick? Wow! Make sure you see that if you missed.

Diaz is a dick so it was nice to see him get schooled. I was not impressed by Rory McDonald's showboating. I hope that comes back to bite him in the ass.
"BINGO! That was a goody!" - Coach Bryant on Sunday afternoons with Coca Cola & Golden Flakes
I didn't like the showboating of Rory, but I felt he took mercy on Penn.Penn in the third had his hands up ,but was immobile and out on his feet.Rory was pinning Penn to the cage just running clock.just my take, felt he could've really hurt Penn.
That's it. Impressive. Daron looked sharp.
