In Mack Browns UT coffin. No way he can survive his promise to never get routed by OU again. UT job will be open.
not good for us or the nation if that happens
agreed. He won't be back next year IMO.
Makes me nervous that some Texas oil man will offer Saban something ridiculous like $10m a year to come over.
Texas is absolutely one of the best jobs in college football. I would hate to see them with a good coach.
I don't see them firing him unless maybe they finish at .500 or lower. That's JMO, of course.
He is toast. Fans have had it win him.
He got Sabanized but it was a delayed effect.

Remember when people were saying we would play them in the championship again? How wrong was that and also how overrated is that west Virginia win last week. UT just got exposed for the overrated team they are
Petrino could be very dangerous at Texas.
They won't hire a known sleezeball. They'll come after a good coach with a good off the field reputation.
Since when did Texas care about those things?
They want to win.
Well I wouldn't worry too much. CNS wouldn't even discuss that job with them 2 yrs ago when some of their $$$ guys wanted Mack out. Mack was pretty close to retiring then but they talked him out of it. I think they let him retire this time. Muschamp and Jimbo will be on their radar though.
If Brown is out, you would have to think they would come after Saban with everything they've got. Honestly though, that doesn't bother me. I would think we can & would match ANY offer to keep him.
IMO they go after Gary Patterson or Chris Peterson.
There is still no sign of Duron Carter.
I think they already tried that
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
They have a complex about being the best at everything...... they're very elitist.
So much for Texas trying to pattern themselves after an SEC team. Hell, Ky wouldn't give up 36 in a half.
Would not surprise me at all if they get Muschamp back...UT is a much bigger gig and Will has proven he can win.
