vs. Miss St
vs. Texas A&M
That is a tough 5 game stretch back to back. If we go 5-0 in those game I think we make is 3 out of 4.
I agree. Individually none of those games look too scary aside from @LSU, but that's a pretty tough 5 week stretch, especially without a bye. I think we can handle it, but the key will be for us to be able to take it one week at a time without having a week where we play subpar (and also stay healthy). You can bet it will be the game of the season for all of those teams.
@ Missouri will be tough, they'll likely be 5-1 or 4-2, but could be 3-3 going into that game. They'll be coming off Georgia, Arizona St., at S. Carolina, at UCF, and Vandy. They could be gassed when they get to us.
@ Tennessee will be coming off Akron, at Georgia, OFF week, and at Miss. St. This will be a tough game, if UT is 3-3 it will be a must win, if they're 4-2 they've still got life. If they're 3-3 we could start to see the wheels come of the bus.
Miss. St. is the game that looks like a trap, I'm glad it is in BDS. Miss. St. could be 6-1 or 7-0, either way we'll get MSU's best game.
@ LSU, nuff said. They've got this week's thumping at Auburn, Towson, at Florida, USCe, and at TAM before an OFF Week, then the Tide comes to town for what has become a play-in game for the national championship.
Texas A&M, if we're undefeated with A&M coming to town or not, I'm not worried about a let down.
Big time agree. To just look at the schedule itself is tough but it's even tougher when you are #1 playing them. We will get their best. LSU will be the toughest but TX & M will be pretty tough too.
There's a lot of blood, sweat, and guts between dreams and success.
I think the difference this year, and the reason we don't have a let down is the past experience of this team. With the exception of Juco transfers, every redshirt sophomore/junior and older has seen what it takes to win a championship, what happens when you lose focus, and what it takes to win a championship again. That is unprecedented in college football to have that kind of leadership and experience in a senior class.
That is a very tough stretch of football, but this team knows what it takes to win and what happens when you don't give it your best. I think they understand the pain and work they have to go through to win and more importantly know that the pain is worth it. If we can't win all those games, we don't deserve to be national champions. I think we win them all on our way to number 15 because of the leadership on the field.
