This is the halftime performance of The Ohio State University Marching Band on 10/6/12 against Nebraska. The theme was Video games and it included parts from Zelda, Halo, Pokemon, Tetris, and others.
Don't miss the running horse at 6:00.
This is another amazing halftime by the OSUMB.

That is Awesome... +1.
Wow! You mean there are---GULP!---CREATIVE BAND directors out there willing to work hard and design intriguing shows to keep fannies in the seats to watch them???
1960 Les Paul
That was awesome! The horse running blew my mind. I can't imagine how much hard work goes into making that half-time show.
Why can't our band do anything like that? Anybody else remember that awful "salute to jazz" a few years back where all they did all year was stand there and play old jazz songs at every game? Nothing against jazz but I am never entertained at halftime by our band.
cuz we have the million dollar band and they are so much better than that...jk. OSU>million dollar band big time!
OSUMB ÷ UAMDB = 10
That video makes me think any money we are spending on a band director is currently too much. Even if he is doing it pro bono, free is too much to pay our band director.
Totally agree. I'm tired of our pitiful halftime presentations. Our "director" (I hate to call him that) needs to go, as he simply does not have the vision to "entertain"...at all.
lol, well played

I was at the OSU/Michigan game a few years back when it was 1 vs 2. The band did an X-wing Fighter and Yoda from Star Wars while playing the theme song. Also did a full moving pirate ship while they played the Pirates of the Caribbean theme. Awesome band.
Thanks for posting that. My two and four year old loved it. I'm not a big band guy, but that was pretty cool.....
This thread is hilarious. Sounds like a bunch of Julius Cesars.
Amazing show. Among the best I've ever seen.
They absolutely put our poor band to shame from an entertainment standpoint.
Wait, where are the pastel flags? OSUMB > pastel flags twirling to jazz
Get the name of that Band Director!!
We should've held on to Corey Spurlin. UA grad and MDB alum/former drum major who wanted the assistant director job when it opened, didn't get it, and instead went to Auburn where he's doing a phenomenal job.
