In the state of Alabama?I just looked at 247's top 100 for 2012 and there is not a single player from Alabama on it.Has the talent level gone down,or are there so many good players now that it is hard to get ranked? The state used to put out at least 2 or 3 guys that were ranked in the top 100 every year.

IF IT FEELS GOOD,YOU AIN'T DOING IT RIGHT!
Last year was a pretty good year, and the Sword kid that's headed to MissSt in this class is a pretty good player, but we don't really need any guards in this class. Jimmie Taylor(Greensboro?) is a kid in I believe next year's class who is already receiving some love as one of the top player's in the country.
First, it is my opinion BB doesn't have the resources recruiting wise to properly rank recruits. So the top 100 means little to me. Second, this is football country. there is some decent basketball played but for the most part the best athletes ae in football as their primary sport.
I would think that it would almost be easier to rank basketball players seeing as how they all play on the AAU circuit and basically you can watch the best play against the best and then watch them play against more of the best. In football, all you may have is film of him playing against 3a competition and them some individual drills that you see of him at your camp. Obviously there are some that you miss on just like in football, but it just seems to me that it may be a little more miss proof.
Jimmie Taylor is nasty. My buddy is asst coach there and has taken him on multiple visits. Also just a great kid all-around.
