This is premium content but the these two sentences sum it up nicely.
"Florida State commit Austin Golson (Prattville, Ala./Prattville) is wavering on his commitment to Florida State. A burgeoning SEC program has certainly got him reconsidering his final decision."
Not sure what's in the water at Ole Miss. A traditional middle of the pack school in the SEC and doesn't have a history of pulling big recruits. They get a new coach and go with a no huddle offense and all of sudden they're pulling 5-star recruits that won't even consider Bama??? Strange, strange, strange...

The BIG MO!!!!! Momentum!!!!!! Big season. Really good coach. Up tempo no huddle offense! Playing time! Great looking girls on campus. Plays in the best conference. Lots of positives for Coach Freeze. Freeze will be on a lot of colleges short list with another good season.
Honestly, I think if Nkemdiche wasn't going there it wouldn't be so much hype and people wanting to go there. Some want to build a new team, not just join a Dynasty which some could understand..
Why are you posting at school?
I have minimum day smart one, thanks for your input though..
Big season??? LMAO. Sure, to them it was. It didn't even measure up to mediocrity on our scale, however. It is what it is and the Bear Rebs are what they are.....
IDK if they're cheating or not. I don't automatically jump to that conclusion when a team starts recruiting well. But "big season"? They went 6-6 and beat Pitt in Birmingham to round out the year. I'd hardly call that a big season. Big for Ole Miss maybe, but the recruits they're pulling in don't match who they are.
Trying to flip Austin Golson seems to be a trendy thing to do these days. Alabama was of course the trend-setter in trying to get him from FSU and others have followed suit.

From everything I have read, that was not the case with Alabama. He took an official visit, and we did not push him at all for anything while he was in Tuscaloosa. Never really a player for him for a long time.
You almost get the feeling that FSU has backed off as well. It will be interesting to see where he actually lands.
