You must not have heard about a recruit in CA who said he was interested in OM... They're already paying him to say he's interested. (G)
You can joke all you want but its not just one besides i thought you already waved the white flag and moved on.
It got old... But then I got bored. And I started thinking about how silly it all really is. And I just couldn't help it.
How much does a booster pay a kid in CA, who's never even heard of Mississippi (because people in CA are so stupid) to say he's interested in ole miss? And how does that transaction work? You don't have to be exact, just use common sense.
C'mon lets quit being ridiculous OK? Its perception. These guys all talk to one another and think, "hey I want to find out what all the buzz is about Ole Miss". My point is that MS and all the rebel flag image and southern stereotypes are still a huge negative to black athletes not from the area.
Whether Ole Miss is cheating or not is irrelevent anyway as the NCAA is not in the enforcement business anyway. This is just for conversation but I'd say its been convo'd to death. So I'm done you win.
It has gotten old. I am guessing you and I would probably agree on many other topics, just not this one. But kids in CA interested in playing for and SEC school that is making a little buzz, and not to mention a chance to "beat Bama" does not = cheating. It just sounds ludicrous to stretch it to that level.
And I am not sure, but I dont see how MS is any more or less "southern stereotyped" than AL and Tuscaloosa, not to mention that MS as a state is about 60/40 white to black.. AL is 25% black... So I dont think you're gonna get much of an argument there.
One thing, RTR - you, nor anybody else has gone through and named a single player besides Tunsil that would really throw up any red flags from last year's class. When anybody can systematically do that I will listen.
Anyways -its Friday -have a good one
OK I lied too. Here is another one........just saying. Man, who wouldn't want to go to Ole Miss?
