Now that we have been on top of college football for a few years be honest and pick which moment was more exciting. I.e. which game didi you scream and jump around more for. Be honest
1. Returning to glory with the Clemson or Georgia win in 2008
2. Winning the title this year
I was just shocked against Clemson and UGA. I didn't even really celebrate I just stated at the TV in disbelief. My brain couldn't comprehend how one year under Saban took us from the mess I was used to being on the field had transformed into a unit on a mission.
This year I was giddy bc I knew the game was going to be all Bama but I didn't expect that type or score. I was jumping all around educating my friends on our younger players and their ratings and how likely they were to start this coming season!
You'll never achieve great things until you believe that's what's supposed to happen

2012 LSU win. To grab victory at the end and secure the SEC West which led to SEC title which led to seal-clubbing of ND in BCSCG.
To win it AGAIN, was the topper for me, not to mention that it laid waste to LSU's 9-month plan to get revenge on us.
The CU & UGA games had me in sort of a giddy excitement. There were only 2 other games that I can recall that gave me such a emotional high of pure joy as Monday night. 99 game at Florida and the 2009 SEC championship. Monday night seems to be the best, but that may be because its so fresh. Going into this game, I honestly felt like this was the biggest game in Alabama history (& I know how that sounds). ND is the only tradition that truly rivals ours, and they for the most part have owned us. Bryant never beat them and they have cost us a lot of trophies over the years. Plus, Mondays game would either propel this era into a unrivaled dynasty as the strongest program, in the strongest conference, in the greatest era of CFB. Or it would poke a serious hole in Bama's and the SEC's dominance. AND if THAT wasn't bad enough, it would revive the most arrogant, self righteous spoiled fan base on the face of the earth. Mondays game, in my eyes at least, was the CFB equivalent of clash of the titans. The rest of the country has been waiting on some team to rise up and bring down the mighty SEC. Oregon couldn't do it. Oklahoma couldn't do it. Even Texas, when sent to beat Bama (a team Bama had never beat) couldn't do it. So the one program that had the clout and championship pedigree to challenge the mighty SEC, seemingly rose from the ashes like the Phoenix. The stage seemed set for ND to return to its "rightful place" as the nations premier CFB program. And it would do so by slaying the biggest dragon from the hated SEC. So, on perhaps the biggest stage in CFB history, the Fighting Irish stood at peak of the mountain top, looked the dragon in the eye and drew ther sword. Then the dragon took one look, farted, ate the challenger with one bite, and went back to sleep. Epic.
some great moments over the Saban years to date:
- Rocky Block
- the "funeral" in Athens
- taking over Neyland in 2008
- 2008 Upchurch TD v Barn
- win @LSU in 2008 in overtime
- 2009 SEC beatdown of UF
- 2008 Clemson beatdown
- 2012 Michigan beatdown in Jerry World
- everytime we beat Petrino
- 2012 2nd half versus UGA in SEC title
- all 3 national titles
- Michigan State beatdown in CapOne
and obviously the national championships and lets not forget how enjoyable signing day has been each year

You said it all!! Totally agree... I love me some Georgia Blackout....when we went up 31 to 0 and the GA people were sitting there in totally and complete shock, I was so enjoying that FINALLY, the announcers talking great stuff about Bama..it had been a long dry spell.it started growing and growing and here we are now..WOW..it sure feels good!!
Cody FG block at tenn
Dominating ND for NC is the biggest win in my lIfe as a Bama fan.
I grew up in the 60's and 70's, for us older guys this win can't be topped.
Best feeling for me was 42-0 at halftime of Iron Bowl this year. Baton Rogue and Atlanta were fun as well.
Growing up with the grandparents I had, I can appreciate that. They craved a win over ND for a national title like many wouldn't believe.
However, for me, as a younger fan (29), the 2009 season was tops for me. That year, there was still that nervous uncertainty. We knew we were good team, but not sure if we were really 'elite' yet. The wins over Tennessee, Auburn and Florida that year were just feelings of excitement that can't be described.
So many to choose...rewatching SEC championship vs GA now- have no idea how we won this game with all the mistakes and injuries...
LSU 2012-The game I jumped around the most was probably LSU this year as soon as I could tell the screen was there and knowing how great Yeldon was in the open field-There were very few reasons to be hopeful until that drive.
"We don't talk about winning championships, we talk about being champions."
Yep the youngsters can't appreciate this one but I sure do. No team on planet earth deserved that dream shattering complete annihilation as much as ND deserved it.
For me the blackout/funeral was huge because i was not expecting to dominate UGA like that. The Clemson game was great too because they were supposed to be good, were favored and we were coming off 6-6.
Truthfully TN 2009 just pissed me off because that team had no business within 2 TD's of Bama and we needed luck to win it. Silver lining was how much it got under the skin of the Viles.
It seems my Bama addiction grows every year, so I'll have to go with this years clubbing of ND. But frankly, after we scored 2 touchdowns to go 14-0, I was pretty calm the rest of the game other than a broad smile across my face.
The 2010 Georgia State game was a classic IMO.
I would say this as well, the 2009 season as a whole was the most exciting. Even the 09 USCe game where Ingram went crazy was amazing! The whole season was amazing, IMO.
SECCG vs. UGA my recent favorite
Making Tebow cry in 2009, sending Urban to the hospital and winning the NCG in 2009.
Yes. I know it wasn't one of the options in the OP but, to someone who was a student through the Shula years, this game was the ultimate, "oh snap, we're for real now!" moment. Wiping that smug look off Tebow's face after being gator chomped all day outside of the stadium was so sweet!
One of my favorite post-game memories was a girl looking at me and saying, "at least Tebow won the Heisman as a sophomore!" I voiced something along the lines of being happy she had that to help her sleep but my brain was just going, "...........?"
That was also the last game where I showed my ass. Since then I've been Processed into a much more humble, respectful and (as we like to say) classy fan.
+ 1 for Dan Halen.
+1 to Run for pure eloquence that sums it up for me, too. The early Saban victories were more thrilling excitement. This one was more deep satisfaction. But it did have somewhat the feel of 2008, when we were taking one monkey after another off our backs with each streak against us we ended. As an old codger who has loved to hate ND since way before we began playing them in the '70s, but who can also grudgingly respect their historical glory, this one is truly special.
Old Soldiers never die...
Im now 20, so other than an almost great year in 2005, 2008 was the first year I really saw what it was like to be relevant and win big games.. Was a very awesome year.
But was at this years UGA and LSU games and both top 3-5 games I've ever been to,, and I've seen all the big ones since about 2006 except for small handful of games..
2008 iron bowl. 6 years of frustration came out. I yelled on pretty much every play for 3 hours. Revenge was sweet and to do it in dominatigf fashion 36-0 was unbelievable!
