IYAM, CNS didnt grant Corey's release because he KNEW that AU secretly recruited him when he was already there. Am I missing anything?
Time for coaches to lose control over players who want to leave their programs.

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
If he starts writing the truth which is probably the right thing to do, then the full story of why he wasn't given a release without conditions may come out.
He is a gosh damn moron. He talks about Grant being the victim but then later says he can see kids not transferring in conference. Well I am pretty sure the barn and bama are in the same conference not to mention the same side of the conference dumba$$.
What do I expect he said the barn is the only school without a state name to have success completely leaving out Notre Dame, Miami, and Clemson to name a few.
The world must be flat to this idiot.
What an idiot. He blasts CNS, then says, "You could make a case, I guess, for not allowing players to transfer within their conferences. Beyond that, I don't see it." Isn't that essentially what CNS was doing? Not only did Grant transfer within the conference, he stayed within the same division and went to his former school's rival.
That guy is seriously butthurt about the fact he was apparently born a barn fan and is too stupid to see there are other options. Would bring a ton of joy to see AJMc pull a Mox from Varsity Blues and pop PM between the eyes to kill the clock during the '12 Iron Bowl.
I make fun of PM as much as anyone but I don't really disagree with him in this case. At least his general premise that coaches put too many restrictions on transfers. He at least was honest enough to say Saban didn't do anything that most SEC coaches wouldn't do.
I can see not giving a release to a player to go to your main rival, in the same state and same SEC division as you, that's just common sense.
I doubt it has anything to do with Saban trying to spite AU, that's not his style he's all business. But some coaches take it way too far. Grant is a bad example though, IMO.

PM would look a lot more presentable if he'd put an apple in his mouth before allowing a picture to be taken of him. JMHO
I would like to ask PM if the situation had been reversed, does he think the Chiz would release a player to play at bama?
Phillip Marshall is just a Barner doing what Barners do. They play victim better than anyone. That's what they do. They have to have a reason for sucking. And please. If anyone believes Grant isn't receiving financial help under the table then you've got your head in the sand. Loans have been made. He's family isn't taking a financial hit. If they were, he'd still e at Alabama.
Trooper Taylor has NO Business contacting players from other teams or their family members. That is crossing the line & is unethical to say the least. His sorry azz needs to concern himself with his own players.
what a faggot
I laughed! New pic is an upgrade though.
Old Yellertooth has replaced his recent picture with an old one. I had heard he was sick of Bama fans talking about how ugly he was!
on another note, we have more responses here on BOL to a thread about the article than the bunker has comments on the original article. We obviously care more for football.
