I was going to post on ALL of the negative threads currently running, but I knew mine would get lost in the BS of some of you!!
WE have a very talented group of players and we are not going to win EVERY dad-gum game!!!!(period)
At one time tonight we had one Seinor on the floor and 4 TRUE FRESHMEN......Hello???????? Can you feel me.....???
We will be just fine... This game and the last games we have played are going to pay HUGE dividends later on in the season..
So PLEASE calm nerves and support OUR TEAM instead of bashing them!!

Its obvious based on the reaction to tonights loss which posters just jumped on the bandwagon and don't have a clue about basketball.
People need to realize that we're a young team and, under Grant, a young program. Georgetown is a tournament team EVERY YEAR. It was a fantastic game IMO.
Ok ok ok I am a Bama fan till the end and I pull for Bama in every damn sport with on exception, when they play my b ball team (GU). I can honestly say this was a great game I was in the rare position where if my team lost I could not be pissed. Just finished the replay and I must say CAG is going to be a better coach than GT3. I have always followed both programs very close and had it not been for BOL I would not know much or care as much for Bama round ball as I do now. I am happy to see GU win as much as it upsets me that Bama home win streak is over. I am not trying to piss anyone off I have a lot of respect for both teams and I honestly feel that if CMG had not have been at the helm whe I was going to Bama games and the sec tournaments I would most likely be a Bama fan and kicked GU to the curb. At the time both programs were middle of the road and looking back CMG had amazing talent and just let them play street ball they won games to spite him. If we (Bama) had the teams that CMG had with CAG coaching it would be amazing! I love all things Bama and I hope GU does not have to face Bama again. Rtr and...
And I honestly think Bama is the best coached team in the sec. I would say the east coast but duck has a great coach with a baby face and the Q's have that pedophile supporter.

It is just amazing to me the out cry of bashing that some of our own fans have put on the boards tonight after the game????
I will admit it,,,,I was upset that we lost as much as anyone, but last year at this time or 3 to 5 years ago at this time I would not have even known that we were playing the round ball yet.......
And this is the first game we lost for crying out loud....last year at this moment we would probably be 2 - 6.
I guess some of these "Folks" thought we would go undefeated and win the title without even playing in the tournament??
I do like how even with the bad shooting we were still in this thing and they had to hit a last second shot to beat us. Its interesting how a) we're one of the best defensive teams in the country and b) just like football defense wins ball games. Every team will have an off night shooting and defense will keep you in those games when you shouldn't be.
Nice post OP +1, very proud of our team

Agreed on all. Some of the Gumps on the other threads were honestly comparing our team under Grant to Gottfried, which is absolutely ludicrous. In a game like that under Gottfried we fold up like a tent & lose by 20. We ended the game on a 12-3 run. They just hit a cold-blooded shot to win. Simple as that. To my knowledge every basketball team since 1976 has lost a game. Shit happens. Roll Grant.

I was there and it was a great game. I loved how our players never gave up. The half time adjustments were amazing. Totally different team in the second half. We have a great team and a great coaching staff.
