Forgive him, he went to Mizzou.
Long drive to Tampa twice a year.
ND could not score 23 on us if we played them twice.
IF IT FEELS GOOD,YOU AIN'T DOING IT RIGHT!
Honestly, I think the can and will score 23 on us. We still win in the end but I see something like 27-24 BAMA.
It is obvious that our defense is good, but not great.
I agree on our defense. The thing is ND offense is average to below average.
We may not be great on defense, but ND is horrible on offense. They wont score two touchdowns.
We have a matchup problem with their tight end - if we close that hole I feel good about our chances. If Not we'll need our running game to keep their offense off the field.
Remember though: GA was in a position to win because of an exploit with their tight end against Sunseri. We can't have that matchup.
Pat Forde needs a dash of reality...where are all the guys that picked UGA today? Heard anything from them?
27 - 13 Bama
Forde yard fail.

I don't like this arrogance we are protruding these days.
Remember that this isn't the grind of the regular season. They will have things up their sleeves, as will we, that both sides have yet to see.
Anything can happen. We might want to exude that "class" we often claim to have.
LOL. Pat is confusing this BAMA/ND game to those that were played back when the Pinto was exploding into flames.
It's so cool to get down voted for simply having a different view than the original poster. Awesome!
I don't protrude anything, ask my wife.
I no longer have confidence in our defense.
I know about the stats, but we have looked bad on D in recent games and Lester, Vinnie and Belue are all liabilities in the passing game as is Nico if we get caught in a bad matchup.
You combine those coverage liabilities with a lack of pass rush and people are going to put up points on us.
The only teams that have had sustained success against our defense feature two of the best offenses in our conference.
I know what you mean and to a certain degree I agree, but I think we have been spoiled by our past defenses to the point where if our D is not absolutely suffocating we think it is suspect. Our D only gave up 21 against a very good UGA offense and obviously started extremely slow against A&M but made adjustments and gave up 9 points over the last 3 quarters. LSU gave us fits but only managed 17 points and everyone else has been absolutely shut down. We still have a top 3 defense this year, but the problem is they are following the greatest defense in CFB history and that is all fresh in our minds.
LSU , A&M and UGA all handled our D easier than we have seen in a long while with Saban at the helm.
Even the Barn had some success against our secondary.
If you are confident after all that, then we see things differently.
That was in one drive when we were GIVING them the middle of the field because of the clock. Yes they got a TD on a misassginment but I dont see us needing to run blitz as they don't have a Gurley type that would require that commitment. Granted their big kid splits out, but I think Mosley with HaHa over the top if he lines up inside will be fine. If they see the tAMU tape they will likely split him out and post him up. But, Fulton did very well there once we made that adjustment. My thought is that if we keep Gohlston in the pocket we will be fine defensively. In CNS and Kirby and our players I trust
"We don't talk about winning championships, we talk about being champions."
Notre Dame has a good OL and a great RB who creates his own space. Their QB is functional. Their secondary is not good. Should be a good game.
I think I watched a different Iron bowl than you did.
