The radio host will be able to sign a contract as this coming monday if he so chooses, ESPN radio has shown interest.
ESPN.com columnist Gene Wojciechowski will co-write the Finebaum book; David Hirshey, who edited biographies of Sandy Koufax and Mickey Mantle, will edit it.

I find it hard to believe that he would walk away from his previous gig and have no idea when or where he'd back on the air. I think its safe to assume that he's ready to sign a deal effective the minute he can legally do it.
There is a plan...
Finebaum has a plan???
sure.. Pat Smith and Paul's agent are pretty smart folks... no one leaves like that without a plan.... I hear inside talk about it here in T-Town, but nothing definitive.. He will not miss August.. you know that...

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes ESPN and then when the SEC/ESPN channel is launched he is part of the programing. I could see them televising his radio show live every afternoon.
Lol Yeah I know, I was just going off on the Saban has a plan saying
How awesome would a commercial be where CNS and Coach Cochran busts in Paul's door to yell at him to get out of bed and get back in the air????
Don't hold your breath on that one.
You Are right on with your comment.. Paul and the SEC Network will have a connection..
He has missed a lot so far. I think coach grants seat would have been a little hotter had he been on the air. I am pro grant by the way, just sayin.
I miss Tammy
I do miss all of the idiots that call into the show
Pray for Tuscaloosa and Roll Tide!
I'm with you on this! He will get paid that's for sure and have creative say over his show not that he will change much
I have no knowledge about Paul's plan, but my best theory is that he and his friend, Mike Slive, will be business associates, when it's all said and done.
Not trying to hijack the thread, but Iman has resorted to calling into sports radio 740 in Montgomery to make himself feel significant, and that is a joke of a show! Just flipping around to see what was on and I heard him, and lol'd, can't stand that douche!

Paul Finebaum and his show are a joke!
Wish I could joke as well as he can then, as his paycheck says otherwise.
His show is a joke, I hate his callers, he know nothing about x's & o's, he never played, he does bad interviews, and he make me sick! His caller are idiots, radio is better off with out him, BUT I DON'T LISTEN! Some people have told me about it!

I am sure you don't. Nicely played but you gave it away at the interview. Even his critics have to give him credit for that skill.
Boy it sure is going to be hard for everyone to complain about him after we have all been asking about him and wanting him back so bad. I will go on record saying I like to listen to him. Agree with him all the time? No. But there's not many I would agree with all the time. He is an entertainer and tries to get people's goat. We all just hope it's not ours he is trying to get.
