In unusual times, making the right decision on Auburns next head coach is more important than ever.
Either this website doesn't exist or is not currently available.
He's tuuurrrrrible. With J.Lee gone, he officially takes and eats the cake.
It is amazing how having your a$$ handed to you in a paper sack, will change your perspective.
They're all "all in" on Petrino now. Jay Tate was talking about it this morning, it's pretty much Petrino or bust to most the fans. If they can't close the deal with BP, it's probably going to end up being Malzahn and very few folks are going to be excited about that.
Haha. That is priceless. Thanks for posting. Somebody has to bump that old article to the top of the page.
These guys are great, but what about the Auburn Creed?
Oh look it's right here in the creed see Marshall chapter 8 verse 12 - "Thou shall only be judgmentally honest when doing so is selfish is nature. When potentially deprecating though shall revert back to holier-than-thou attitudes to criticize the very behavior thou recently championed."

Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
What happened to Opie?
1960 Les Paul
Plus even if they don't want to admit it now. Because of the scandal. They have always had a stiffy for Petrino. & have even tried to sneak him in as a coach before.
That's what 3-9 and 49-0 will do to you. If BP is a liar then he will fit in perfectly on the plains.
Why not? Auburn is a dumpster fire, and by comparison with the woes facing the Auburn program (lack of discipline, inevitable player dissmissals/suspensios due to academics, and potential sanctions), the Perino mess was nothing. Petrino can "find God" and be forgiven...Auburn is going to have to work its way out of its problems. If I were PM, I would have the same sentiment today. Petrino is so right for that organization, and he should be the next HC at Auburn. That would be a HC move that Auburn would finally get right.

I heard BP staged it all to get out of his Ark contract and be at the barn. True Story.
I love it when PM crows about the last three HC's having undefeated seasons. Problem is you fired ALL of them later. That's the true picture of that statement.
Winning isn't sustainable at au. Never has been and never will. Their only hope is to lower expectations but it's nearly impossible with writers like PM.
Their holier than thou fanbase will of course declare that he has repented and seen the light.
I love the whole "we shouldn't judge him" sentiment. Uhhh, based on the fact that he'll be the face of the school, a leader of young men, and being paid millions...I might want to make a "judgement" of the guy I'm about to hire. That includes past decisions...
His press conference intro would be like a parole board hearing. I'm a changed man, learned my lesson, full of remorse, found Jesus, etc etc, the standard BS and the Barners would eat it up.
I doubt they hire BP but if they do the spin will be hilarious.
He went postal (unprofessional) on one of the posters about having "relations" with his wife among other things. It wasn't quite this polite. Barner Creed Cult Members led a mass revolt saying they wanted him gone (as well he should be) so he is taking a self imposed ban or sabatical of sorts. Rumor is he sold his portion and is gone but I doubt that.
