Good thread. I would say Clowney or whoever is the Best CB out there.
Marcus Roberson- UF stud at corner. Our D will be complete. Clowney is great, but we would still be vulnerable on D
Phillip Lutzinkirchen- AU, I know it is AU, but our O would be at it's peak with a HB of his caliber. A bigger and more athletic Smelley? Yea, I'll take that all day.
Eat clean. Train Hard.
This one's easy.
Defense..The guy that intercepted the ball on 4th down
1960 Les Paul
Heh, I see your approach on this one ;)
Clowney is the only answer
Seems like Clowney is the unanimous decision for Defense. Tough not to pick Eiffert from a need stand point on offense.

Bwaaaaa haaaahaaaa. I can't really tell if you're joking or not because you actually put in a decent player with Elam. Any offensive Player in the country and you go with that bum. I love it

So what's your reason for picking up the other guy. Please tell me you were just having fun.
Offense-Lee (him and coop would be unstoppable)
Defense-Clowney(him alone is unstoppable)
Thats all that we need.I would also start Geno.By the stats, don't we have the # 1 D in the country?
Marquis Lee and Austin Seferian-Jenkins
Clowney and Jarvis Jones
Hands down Clowney. He would completely change the defense. And please dont kill me for this but Im tempted to take Tyler Eifert instead. He would be an upgrade at TE.
We don't have a sideline to sideline speedster....

So Lutz is not a decent player? Actually, he is a great player. He would have been a 4 year starter at Alabama. We wanted him VERY badly
Honestly I think that Jarvis Jones would be a better fit for us than Clowney.
See SP105's post...a more athletic Smelley with great hands. All we're missing on O is a really good Hback, IMO.
Yea I hear you. One game against ND I might go with a guy like Reid, for an entire season I would go with Clowney. Same with taking a guy like Effiert. If I am adding a player for a season then I would probably go with Manziel because he could add some things to the offense but most importantly in that we would no longer be vulnerable with one injury at QB.
100 percent agree.
I was looking at this game only. Like I said though still can't go wrong by picking Clowney.
I wouldn't take Lutz but I don't think he is a bad pick. He woulda been used all year like we were gonna use Fowler. He woulda just been better out of the backfield.
I guess the question to ask is whether our team needs another WR weapon or a pass catching TE more? Considering I'm a guy that likes to run the ball and use PA I'd take a pass catching TE as we already have 3-4 WR that are very capable (obviously White and Bell are hurt now). We don't have a TE that creates mismatches and never really have. Smelley was decent but not near the player as Lutz. JMO
The only answer is Jadaveon Clowney. Number one pick for the 2014 draft and will be a dominate pass rusher in the NFL from day one. If you watched SC this season he was in the backfield almost every play whether he made a tackle or not. It takes two or three guys to stop him, if he's one on one he is going to get to the QB.
