SIAP, but please keep Shannon Brown, DT 91-95, and his family in your prayers. Shannon's daughter Loryn was killed in the tornado Wednesday night. I know their family would appreciate any and all prayers.
Where is Shannon now? He may be the toughest Bama player of this generation and has such a tolerance for pain. I remember when he dislocated his shoulder and missed like one or two plays.
But then of course he's never experienced pain like this. Sickening.
He and his wife were on WSFA Montgomery tonight at 10:00. They were on the phone with there daughter when the tornado hit. I don't cry a lot, but I did when I saw this. His dad took some moving equipment to Tuscaloosa and found her. Let me tell you this, Shannon and his wife are incredible people. The way they handled the interview and expressed concern for others while suffering such a great loss, I just can't explain it with words. Please pray hard for them.
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
